He's really good with judo instructions. Check him out on Judo Fanatics! But also, what's great about this one is that these are the judo throws you can use in BJJ with "low risk." You don't want to do an Ippon Seoi Nage that gets your back taken on BJJ competitions and lose the match thereafter. This instructional has info. and directions on how to do Ippon Seoi Nage on BJJ competitions without running into troubles. Overall, it's a great instructional for 1) beginners or someone who needs to work on takedowns and 2) as a good transition for judoka competitors to go to BJJ competitions.

The Shoulder Pin Guard System by Neil Melanson
A well arranged series with a lucid explanation by Neil. The principle concepts of the position and entry are explained first which I found to help me improve my effectiveness when adopting the ‘shoulder pin’. Its my honor to say.... there is so much detail in this. Seriously! For a white belt this is where you want to start... because in your rolls you are likely finding yourself in all the disadvantageous positions like me. I haven't watched the entire series yet.. but Im frquently having my guard passed and being stuck in side control. I turned to that section first and have had some good ideas immediately help me at gym.

The Blackout Hybrid Pin and Cradle System by David Petrone
This is a phenomenal instructional that encompasses the cradle and its various uses. As a former wrestler the cradle is a technique that I keep going back to in my BJJ game. There have been times that I have been stuck with certain positions, getting to the back or countering defensive reactions from having my training partner in the near side cradle for example. Coach Petrone’s instructional answers many of these questions and provides an array of techniques that are very easy to digest and able to apply the next time you get the opportunity to train, some are just straight up Nasty! . Great work. A masterpiece for us that love the cradle.
