One of the best instructors of his generation!
Essential Connections: Chest To Back - Behind The Elbows by Giancarlo Bodoni
G.B. has a very patient and calm way to explain. I have several his of instructionals. His structuring is outständing. I struggled a lot with developing and maintaining pressure in chest to back scenarios. This instructional is a gamechanger for me. He shows how to increase and maintain contact and pressure and how to transform it to get to the back and maximize your back control no matter if they stay on the ground or managed to get up! Highly recommend!

Opening The Closed Guard by Ricardo Testai
R. T. points out in such great detail and with an easy to follow approach how to stay safe inside the closed guard no matter if you are on both keens or one leg up or getting up or stand upright. He shows a well chosen variety of get up and opening the closed guard staying on you knees or standing up controling the hip or controling one arm. Highly recommend!!

This is a much needed addition to your butterfly guard library. Very clear and concise
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great material
Craig seems to be the only guy looking outside of the ruleset and asking why we do things certain ways and how we can do them better. Super interesting material, and the banter was also great

Pressure Passing Encyclopedia by Bernardo Faria
Bernardo gives you everything you need to improve your pressure game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Super useful and pretty easy to integrate
Buzzsaw Passing: Gi by Andrew Wiltse
Andrew gives great advice on how to chain different pass attempts together to gain incremental advantages, and cut through guards before your opponents have time to settle in. I was able to get some of the concepts working quite quickly, so while I am far FAR from mastering the advice contained in the instructional I appreciate that the techniques work well even if they aren't fully mastered. One note (note a criticism, just and FYI): This approach to passing is tiring. If you are used to slow grindy pressure passing then this style of passing will take some getting used to.
Great material
Half Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Great intro to half guard for beginners. Alot of good information
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:this instructional is goated
Front Strangle Mastery by David Garmo
this instructional blew me away- so impressed by this product. garmo's system is both accessible & unique- & he encourages finishing on top/dominant position. finishing on top is helpful for people like me- I'm always reticent to attempt front headlock techniques for fear of sacrificing position & getting stuck on bottom... so I loved his system! beyond the quality of his system, he is a really good instructor who does a good job explaining the "why" to his approach & cues for when to apply these moves. in addition to the technical detail, the product itself has a really cool feature that i remember seeing on an old jacare instructional, but very few instructionals have imitated since, which is showing a move & then following it up with live tourney footage of the tech. i think it really helps to show live footage and/or tourney breakdowns because seeing the move live against the high-caliber opponents gives you more confidence in practicality of the move, gives you an idea of how move looks real-time, and also gives you insight into how an opponent might react and resist to the move in a live scenario. i can't say good enough things about this instructional, thanks mr. garmo & BJJ fanatics!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::fire:Good, fun, dirty stuff
Combatives & Street Jiu Jitsu by Dan "The Wolf Man" Theodore
I really like Dan's flow of teaching. The stuff he shows can definitely be applied in a multitude of different situations. I think if you're thinking about getting it, you should. And add some of this stuff to your drilling routine and play around with it and I have fun. I am. My background is club security and corrections. I've been in plenty of scraps. In my opinion, there's stuff here that can add an edge to your tool box.
Professional!

Guard Passing by Joao Gabriel Rocha
Effective Guard Passing by Joao Gabriel Rocha
I have followed Joao for the past 10 years. I was an Ultraheavy in 2012-2015 and Super Heavy since 2016. The techniques and style of BJJ from Super and Ultra heavy's are completely different from the lighter classes. I know this well because I once owned a Cobrinha affiliate school in California - another all time great fighter. Rocha's instructional DVD/Video is "5 Star" for all weights, but just knowing how he does it is inspiring for a big guy. He is one of the great BJJ fighters of our time from Rio in his class, and if you are serious about your sport or competitive BJJ, then this video is a must have in your library. I bought this video this morning and already watched it multiple times. Great refresher for upcoming tournaments. Ossa.
Love it.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:The greatest instructional on tilt sweep/knee lever sweep/Giggler Sweep
Mastering The Giggler Sweep by Sean Roberts
S. R. developed a very congruent sweeping system around the Giggler Sweep. You get variatons for every possible weight distribution of your opponent and to prevent every possible post. He points out all key points very clear and he gives some solo demonstrations when needed to get the correct limb placement/technique going. He delivers some key details as the outside foot lockdown and the ellbow underhook which perfectly fit in any other half guard game. In the passing sequenz you will also get great details on clearing your leg when passing from reverse half top! Recommend!!!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Outstanding

Response from BJJ Fanatics:fire:Let's enter to butterfly sit up guard approach!
The Sit Up Guard by Daniel Gazoni
D. G. delivers a on point series about one leg up butterfly guard. He covers conventional sweeps as well as variations. He covers submissions mainly based on loop choke and variations an added on some armbars and wristloks during or as a given follow up of the sweeps. He further covers transitions and arm drag based follow up seeps around x-guard as well as taking the back from there. He gives a great idea of how this moves work in conjunction! His aproach on active grip fighting to create opportunies ist so valuable too! Highly recommend!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:A must have for kimura lovers - beginnrs and retuners!
The Cobrinha Kimura Trap System by Rubens "Cobrinha" Charles
R. C. breaks down the kimura from almoust any known and high percentage position in great detail! At the beginning of each position/combination chapter he shows it the techniques in fluent motion severel times from a buch of angles. Then he talks himself through each technique several times form several angles again. He also points out very clear when to prefer which technique depending on your opponent´s reaction. What makes this instructional even more unique are the chapters which are pointing out common mistakes and where they lead to and how to avoid/correct them. Highly recommend!!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Super interesting stuff
The idea of using flanking to fatigue people rather than immediately pass their guards is interesting. Great material from craig as always

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Closed Guard by Paul Schreiner!!!
Connected Reaction: Clinch Closed Guard by Paul Schreiner
P. S. created a very solid series about the closed guard where he points out really well the relation between attacking the arm and taking the back. Furthermore he points out how hooksweeps and tilt sweeps fit into this game profundly. Basic techniques given in very efficient way. He absolutely points out the key details of any given technique. He introduces also really well to the subject of hunt for more than you want so that you at least get what you want within the chapter "asking your parents for money". There is some overlap in techniques with his 2 on 1 pistal grip closed guard series but the details are a way more and deeper. An absolute must have if you want to understand the closed guard game better and improve it.

Now That's What I Call K-Guard by Adam Benayoun
In addition to being a decorated competitor who has stood toe-to-toe with some of the best grapplers in the world, Adam Benayoun is an incredibly gifted teacher. As someone who has taken countless classes with Adam, I can attest this instructional is the next best thing if you are unable to learn from him in-person. Adam’s simple, yet descriptive, approach to teaching enables all of his students to quickly learn new techniques and concepts in an efficient manner. After a recent injury, I decided to expand my K Guard game and I am already starting to feel confident thanks to this instructional. Definitely worth every penny!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:So, that is how you swept me!
Exploring The Empty Half Guard by Daniel Paul Pollaccia
Daniel is a very knowledgeable Black Belt and practitioner. I enjoy rolling with him and learning his game to add to my own. Recently, in a roll he used the empty half guard to sweep me, and when I asked him about the sweep he told me he had this instructional on BJJFANATICS. I'm very glad to have bought the instructional and learned the game of empty half. Not only will I be more aware of defending it empty half, but I will be using it to sweep opponents also! What I enjoyed about this instructional is how direct to the point each technique is presented. You can learn a very important system in about 40 minutes with no extra talking or nonsense. This instructional is very pure and straightforward. My last point to make is this instructional is also a guard retention tool because when you learn it you will catch passers in the final moment of the pass with empty half-guard. If you have a strong guard but want an extra tool, buy this. If you have a ****** guard and everyone passes you, buy this. White - Black belt recommended! I wish I learned this years ago!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:The best teacher for grappling. He has a PhD!
High Percentage Chokes: No Gi by Lachlan Giles
Lachlan is concise but thorough. Easily the best teacher on here. Keep in mind he's smaller so the moves he teaches seem to be much more broadly applicable.
