Calimbas Locks by Mike Calimbas
Prof Calimbas has been training for years, it’s great to finally get to learn from him on here. From world class photographer, to professional sub only Champ, Mike has won many opens and is a F2W veteran. He’s found a system to utilize positions most people wouldn’t consider advantageous. Highly recommend!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Battle Tested Pressure Passing By Bernardo Faria
Battle Tested Pressure Passing by Bernardo Faria
Simply Amazing, a really good quality of the video and really simple tecniches to apply during roll but they work really well in the battle, nothing fancy only good working tecniches: what I was searching for.

The Turtle Guard Revisited by Eduardo Telles
I should have gotten this instructional years ago! Eduardo's unorthodox style is very efficient and shows many ways to use turtle that just isn't really taught. This is a must have! Unlock turtle power!

The Complete Wrestling Riding System: Volume 1 by Hudson Taylor
Étant un pratiquant du JJB je trouve ce dvd est très intéressant pour travailler les takedown. Ces instructions m'ont permis d'enrichir mon jeu et je vais pouvoir le partager avec mes élèves et mes frères de tatami.
How to **** a Coyote
Killing The Coyote by Lucas Leite
Trying to pass an opponent who is an expert at the coyote half guard is a real nightmare. Luckily Lucas is the master of masters in this domain and helps you with his secrets to deconstruct the half guard. Rather than using the knee cut pass he préfères to pass the coyote guard from his knees. I have never seen his style of passing and I already had great success with it at the gym.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Just makes sense!
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Mounted Pin Attacks - The 4x4 Mount System by John Danaher
Great instructional. Complete breakdown from one position to the next.

This is such a useful resource, from a master in his field! A step by step guide to become super proficient in the stand up game!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Master of the leg dab
The guard Retention Anthology: Around and Under by Lachlan Giles & Ariel Tabak
Guard retention is the holy grail of bjj. If someone can't pass aren't you than invincible? Instead of showing random moves Ari and Giles will equip you with nuanced concepts of guard retention. If you stick to their plan you will see a huge increase in your capacity to defend yourself from guard and to become an open guard player. The high pummel became crucial to my game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great for identifying what to do next!
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
This instructional is incredible. Prof. Danaher provides a heuristic approach to escaping generally, rather than a bunch of techniques that work only in certain situations.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:A must have for beginners!
Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills by John Danaher
I'd expect nothing less from John, but to have all the fundamental movements put together in one place, broken down and presented in typical danaher fashion is a massively underrated resource. I'm so glad I came across it due to lock down, and especially because now I am even more into bjj and have gone on to buy even more courses, and improve my game completely
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Escape the unavoidable
Submission Escapes by Tom DeBlass
How really likes to escape submission? Being caught in a submission is often a sign that your opponent is a better bjj player. However if you know how to escape a submission you are often able to turn the tide to your favour. The problem is that most instruction on the topic of escaping are not that useful. Tom De Blass on the other hand shows you really effective ways to escape very tough situations. Ever since I have learned his Kimura escape life got a lot easier at the gym.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Logical, Well thought out, good teaching style
Fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Escapes Gi & No Gi by Lachlan Giles
Lachlan has a fantastic understanding of BJJ (obviously), but he has an equally solid understanding of how to teach, and what a white belt needs to learn. I really appreciate the logical progression to the escapes, that can then be linked together. I like the accuracy of the bookmarks. I like the detail that he goes into. I like the fact that he only says things once then leaves the rewinding up to us. I dont understand why half guard isnt in this escapes instructional (or others for that matter e.g danaher) - but on the premise of the 30 day returns policy I gave this a shot, and also bought the 'Half guard anthology' to fill the gap, while also building a full half guard game. All I can say is - I'm glad I did. Props to Lachy. I only hope some day I get the chance to train/roll with him in person
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Ante is the best. Hands down.
Killing The Far Side Arm by Ante Dzolic
I recommend all the videos that Ante has on BJJ Fanatics, and I would choose him over any other instructor. There are some people that are meant to teach. If you buy his BJJ centric videos, you will have years of material for a price that is much more reasonable than Akins, Danaher, etc. Don't get me wrong, those guys give good details, but Ante is the right choice for most folks. Thanks Ante. I'm a huge fan. I hope to train with you some day.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Young Travis and Pedro teaching full on
Arm-Lock Series (Juji-Gatame) by Jimmy Pedro & Travis Stevens
Insights on the arm bar you don't always get in the early years of BJJ. Haven't been able to use them yet but I picked up some insights for the next time Im dealing with a guy in turtle that are mind blowing.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Over Under expertise
The Power Judo Guard Passing by Jimmy Pedro
Expert insights into the over under pass that have really helped me. Some Judo insights that have translated well to BJJ. Pedro is a master teacher.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:From my cold dead grips...
Scientific Gripping Systems For Jiu Jitsu by Travis Stevens
Half a year ago I have bought this instruction. It has improved my techniques on a general level. Grips are so important but one does rarely think about it. Thanks to this video I am putting a lot more thought in my grips and it pays off enourmusly.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:very good method to pass
Viking Passing by Tommy Langaker and Espen Mathiesen
very good method to pass the guard and well detailed because the detail in bjj is important great video
Sting theory of attacks
Foundations of Guard: Attacking by Mikey Musumeci
This dvd ist probably the best introduction regarding open guard that has ever been made. Instead of presenting a random array of techniques Mike presents you the key to understand why a sweep, a submission or a back take can be executed in a certain situation. Mike gives you the keys to string sweeps and attacks together. The kid is from another planet
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:It's good

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Awesome info
The 411 Leg Lock Instructional by Alan Shade
Really like the setups this gives. Very good control and nice setup. This series had a lot of content for the price. I would have liked if it was by bjj fanatics because it is easier to access that way. I didn't need shipping. The breakdown of the positions is very nice.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Good
The Tactical Guide To No Gi BJJ Escapes by Matheus Diniz
Solid fundamentals for grappling competition. A little too much talking and tangents, which makes it harder to stay focused. If you're a wrestler or mixed martial artist, the escape in Nicolas Renier's instructional as its a little less married to the BJJ meta.
Great instruction
The Foundations of Back Control by Ante Dzolic
I will be using these techniques on Monday!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great overview

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Must have
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: No Gi Guard Passing by John Danaher
Between fanatics wrestling and fanatics bjj I have more than 30+ instructionals so far. Hours and hours of great content and valuable information and even though I have yet to see them all, there are few that stand out like a beacon of light in the midst of the night. One of these is the new wave jiujitsu guard passing instructional. John breaks down everything like he usually does so the student - you and me buddy <3 - can get the most bang for our buck and even though the price tag is quite hefty, remember the information John delivers has not just taken half a lifetime to archive but more importantly gone through his Aspergers filter. If there is something important you need to know john is there making sure you know about it. Recommended for everyone at all levels.
excellent breakdown
Zahabi's Favorite Triangle Chokes by Firas Zahabi
I have long legs, but have not had much success landing triangles. Everyone tells me that it is what I should focus on because of my body type. I am putting in the effort now to learn them and this series is a big help. He really covers the little details that will help someone like me.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Deadly backpack
Maia Backpack System: Submissions From The Back by Demian Maia
Maias backpack system is the one that has improved my game the most. His teaching is concise and straight to the point. Since I have learned the video I find it a lot easier to control and to choke my opponents from the back.

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Loved this series! Helped me with recovering guard against upper belts.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Not as comprehensive as I was hoping
Luta Livre Training by Nicolas Renier
This provides some good instruction of the basics from a no-gi perspective. The Luta Livre approach to some of these common positions is different than what you commonly see in BJJ. But for a 1 year program it didn't cover nearly as much as I had hoped. Many other common positions are never addressed. Still this provides some unique insights and will help improve your no-gi game
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Easy to follow
Lapel Chokes From Everywhere by Miko Hytonen
Great instructional with good energy and detailed explanations. Immediately started utilizing some of the techniques in rolling sessions. Highly recommend.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Love it!
Scissoring Me Timbers: The Scissor Guard by Neil Melanson
I literally have 9 of Coach Melanson's instructionals. Everyone is great. I can't get enough! The scissor guard video flows perfectly with the other guard videos. Thanks to Neil, my guard game is getting better and diverse.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Guard retention 101
The Encyclopedia of Guard Retention by Lucas Valente
Lucas Velente shows you in this dvd a selection of guard retention techniques that are no nonsense and straight to the point. You don't a lot of flexibility to pull of the moves. The dvd has helped my open guard retention a lot. Especially his X concept.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent
The Immortal Clinch by Matt Brown
Great instructional that addresses the clinch game in an MMA context. This is great to have when most clinch instructionals are made for in Muay Thai context.
