Great series, I thought this was much better organization than the “footwork blueprint” instructional. This series really starts from the basics and builds in a logical manner and stays focused on the topic. I've never really felt confident shooting in for takedowns, and this DVD was my in. As I've been able to get under the hips using these techniques it's given me more confidence to attempt while standing as well because I have better finishing mechanics. Amazing DVD. For real.

I had the opportunity to attend a seminar Octavio held at my gym. I was stunned by the level of technical expertise displayed by him and so decided to buy both of his courses. I have continued to use them as a reference in my efforts to emulate his style of BJJ. I can promise that if you correctly apply his techniques you WILL be passing the guards of players who previously were keeping you in check and defending your own guard so much more effectively. The concepts are so simple yet the results they are going to yield for you are ground breaking. Octavio's instructions are clear, concise and his methods don't require any more than average ability to be successfully employed.
