Askren funk
The Funk Encyclopedia by Max & Ben Askren
This video should be a staple in everyone’s toolkit. Scrambling seems foreign if you look at all the positions and options from all those positions. But when you break it into a flowchart like the askren brothers, it becomes digestible. This video has been responsible for getting the edge in plenty of tight matches. Knowing a few simple rules in these scramble positions has paid dividends for my wrestlers.

This completely changed my game.
No Gi Open Guard Volume 1: K Guard by Lachlan Giles
Lachlan is genuinely my new favourite instructor. I previously enjoyed his retention videos and his half guard videos carried me out of white belt and into blue. The way that Lachlan teaches sis very easy to get and after showing it to my black belt friends, they say he definitely caters more towards the black belts so I'm excited to just keep getting more and more out of this instructional as I gain more knowledge. I plan on getting the rest of this series. This is the first instructional that, after trying it out for a few weeks, gas really felt that it has given me an entire "game" and also a direction to continue to learn on the future. The fact that Lachlan gives you the strategy and not just the technique - without all the waffle but still with charisma - is really rare and impressive.
