The video content is solid, though the sound quality could be improved. I originally thought this technique was only for attacking the back, but it’s versatile and can be used effectively from multiple positions. It’s a valuable submission to add to your arsenal, and I definitely recommend it.

Lachlan does a great job organizing all of the mini battles you need to know to make all of those outside control open guards you learned in the gi work in no gi. I like the way he explains the advantages of outside control and how you need to make all of the guard you use flow from one to the other (outside control guard transition well to other outside control guards and so on. Does the trick
The Brabo/Darce Evolution by Dave Porter
If you practice one or two of these from each position that he demonstrates you’ll start to see these whenever the elbow opens with a path all the way to the neck. Once that space opens, if you get the hip side arm in you work to darce and if you get the head side arm in you Ezekiel (Gi) or figure four and work an arm in style choke from there (some people are starting to call this style choke a Ruotolotine). Either ways it’s pretty simple once you start to see these openings and understand the role of each hand and the angles required for a true blood choke. I recommend this to anyone looking further understand Darcie’s and how to hunt them.
Get used to deep lasso

John Danaher’s Americana Lock
Master The Move: The American Lock by John Danaher
I’ve been searching for Frank Mir’s Mir Lock for a long time. Recently, I saw Mika Galvão using the Mir Lock. And in MMA, I can never forget Korea’s judo specialist Jung Bu-kyung’s armbar against Shinya Aoki. People called it an armbar, but to me, it looked more like a Mir Lock. Somehow, I feel like John Danaher will cover this technique. Alright, I’ll be honest—I haven’t watched the video yet. I’m just curious about Danaher’s breakdown of the Mir Lock. I’m really looking forward to it!
