The Ultimate Takedown Series Volume 1: Gripping & Kuzushi by Travis Stevens
When I decided to be well rounded and stop pulling guard, I went in search of instructionals that could help me with the basics. The problem is most focus on the takedown or throwing technique. That's fine if you have some foundational knowledge. But I was starting from scratch and this set from Travis was exactly what I needed to learn how to move myself and my partner, how to grip, how to treat RvR and RvL etc. I started Judo 6 months after practicing the contents in here and found myself to not be so lost!
good
Loose Passing by Ethan Crelinsten
goood
always awesome
Feet To Floor Bundle by John Danaher
professor Danaher as with all his other instructionals takes a step by step approach in clearly and concisely giving a roadmap for success. many instructional videos just throw you in the deep end of a technique without explaining the principles and skills required to be successful with them.

Ageless Jiu Jitsu: Winning When You're Older or Less Athletic - Bottom Game by John Danaher
John is always talking about for beginners, they should focus on primarily 3 things: 1.) bottom play (particularly half guard) 2.) escapes 3.) passing in one instructional, John delivers heavily on the first two points, especially the first. you are given a complete half guard and bottom game in general in addition to recovering guard from bad positions such as bottom side, bottom mount, and turtle. if you can only buy one of his instructionals and you're a white or blue belt, make it this one.
