Never Get Submitted Again by Noel Danforth
I liked the course. It will teach you how not to get caught in the most common submissions, starting with early defense and ending with last minute survival. It's a very important topic and I like the instructor's emphasis on defense as the most important part of your game.

An excellent instructional to help you improve your closed guard
Plan B From Closed Guard by Valerio Mori Ubaldini
This instructional by Valerio Mori Ubaldini covers several aspects of closed guard (GI) and comprises three volumes - Volume one (56 minutes) teaches when and how to pull guard from a standing position and to then move directly to a submission or to one of several guards; Volume two (78 minutes) teaches from the close guard four sweeps (scissor, pendulum, sit up and flower), however additionally for each sweep, responses are taught for situations where the opponent defends the sweep and therefore it does it does not go to plan (i.e., the need for a Plan B); and Volume three (97 minutes) teaches what to do when the opponent breaks and passes your closed guard, techniques include submissions and sweeps. The total runtime for this instructional is 3 hours and 52 minutes. Valerio’s approach is to firstly demonstrate the complete techniques and then to teach the technique in detail. In respect of the detail, he also usefully explains the “why” (i.e., why it is necessary to do certain actions as part of the technique). The demonstrations are clear and are repeated from different angles. The video has been filmed in his own training facility and the video is of a good quality. In terms of sound, it is noticeable that his voice appears to be raised, accordingly you can clearly hear what he is saying throughout the instructional. This is a specialised closed guard instructional teaching several specific aspects of the closed guard. I found this instructional to be really useful and easy to watch. The concept of having Plan B’s is an essential one to embrace, as grappling is dynamic and ideally you should aim to have a flowing game where if a technique fails you have another appropriate technique ready to follow. If you are into the closed guard (GI) I strongly suggest you get it this instructional.
