Professor Lucas gives so many great details about closing in on your opponent's guard by eliminating or navigating around their frames. He also explains the correct angles to make with your knees etc, to apply the pressure and make yourself feel heavy and well balanced.

Power Ride: A New Philosophy on Pinning by Craig Jones
The value of this instructional is that it’s very different than most instructionals you see. Craig Jones is thinking outside the box: What are the best control techniques if you ignore trying to score points? Focusing on strong control where escape is difficult (or at least unfamiliar to the traditionally trained BJJ player), we find different pins work. I appreciate the contrarian way of thinking here, and it will surely diversify and expand your tool kit on the mats. I’ve started trying leg-splitting pins and the stacked mount at the knees, and they worked really well (until my instructor told me to work my mount higher, where I then lost control!) The only improvement that I’d have liked to see was better audio quality when Craig Jones is facing away from the camera, but that doesn’t detract from the real value of the series.

It’s an extremely efficient and simple system Mansour created. I especially loved the little details. It is quite unique variations. It’s great that bjj fanatics allowed these other grappling styles post their instructionals on the site.

Silverfox has the best submission oriented game in my opinion, it will take time to be able to be as fluid and master the submissions as he does. But I really benefit from the details he shares on his youtube channel and his instructionals

Open guard is pretty much where older grapplers end up a lot. Generally if I can get to top position, I'm in good shape. Danaher's typical methodic, detailed approach, with tactical advice, has been really helpful to me.

I have purchased and studied many of John's instructional video's and they are always the easiest to understand, most direct, complete and comprehensive on the market, they can seem slow and dry but for those with the patience and commitment to complete and study John's instructional video's you will have a level of understanding only his long term students can match.

It was a huuge honor for me to watch this instructional however I would say it is best suited to beginners for picking up some first time mindset prep for competition rather then a deeper level insight into the mindset required to be a champion.
