I love half guard but used to get stuck if my partner switched their hips onto me and started flattening me out. This instructional is so useful and he's so succinct. Watch it several times, it's pretty short. The clamping down the elbow detail is key, cuz everyone's gonna be crossfacing the f@$% out of you at first. When I got the elbow detail the whole thing kind of clicked for me. Now when my partner switches their hips I give them a reacharound and they don't know what's going on. Well done, I strongly recommend.

Xanadu Back Takes: Elite Guard Retention, Berimbolo's and Xanadu Guard by Levi Jones-Leary
This is a great instructional that provides you with a game plan and lots of details for your DRL and berimbolo game from one of the best. Levi Jones is a true inspiration for me as I am a fan of berimbolo and back takes and he is the guy who can berimbolo everyone on high level including Lucas Lepri. Even Lachlan Giles in his DLR, open guard series gave Levi Jones' berimbolo game as a great example. The instructional is not too long and it is easy to watch and follow. The techniques are very effective. I would recommend to everyone who wants to improve their berimbolo and likes inversions and back takes from open guard, DLR and RDLR.

Ive never got an instructional before but have always had a hard time getting submissions on the back. I did a submission only tournament and took everyones back, but didnt submit anyone from there. Something had to change, and while i dont have too hard a time getting to the back, once there i typically get bored failing at chokes so eventually try an ill advised arm bar and lose position. This instructional seemed like it was exactly what i needed, and it was. I bought this instuctional and at the next training session, i tapped both people i rolled with in a rnc, one of which was a brown belt. I cant remember ever tapping anyone except the newest white belts with rnc's before this video. Just a bunch of little details that made a huge difference for me. Video is thorough but not too slow for my taste. I think everyone should get it!
