Ultimate Choke Escapes by Henry Akins
Diverse Pathways To Armbars And Chokes by Luis Heredia
Professor Henry will teach you how to never get choked again by taking you "back to the future" and teaching you how to defend not only the submission, but the steps taken BEFORE the choke is even in place. Henry doesn't demo against just 4 or five chokes, rather he shows defense of nearly every choke you will encounter in your BJJ journey. RNC? No problem. Bulldog? answered here! Head and Arm? No sweat! Many solutions for both gi and nogi situations! This title is more than worth the purchase in simple, straight forward defense, that doesnt require you to be athletic or even moderately skilled. Perfect for the beginner and advanced practitioner alike!

This instructional is a pure gem, Chad shows how to adapt his system not only to bjj, but also to ni-gi and self defence, in my opinion is a complete system since it can adapt to any situation, and that's rare nowadays, with all the modern stuff. Absolutly worth 5 stars.

Systematically Attacking The Guard by Gordon Ryan
This is one of the best instructional digital DVDs I've ever seen. Gordon Ryan shows how to pass every single type of guard from open guard passing and using a loose style of guard passing to half guard passing, body lock passing, passing ashi garami and x guard variations, and every other form of guard you can think of. No stone is left unturned in this series, and I'm looking forward to guard passing 2.0.

Submission Escapes by Tom DeBlass
This is the 3rd instructional I’ve bought of Toms - all of them seem to get better and better. The explanations always go into great detail of why he does what he does. That helps as much as seeing the move for me - the concept behind and why it works. I really like the leg lock escapes - I have used successfully time and time again after cleaning up some small details that I was missing or forgetting.
