Systematically Attacking the Guard Body Lock Study by Gordon Ryan
Great instructional video !
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Keep z guard great
Make Z Guard Great Again by Craig Jones
Some believe argue that z guard was never great... but I disagree. Look how strong the z guard was in the 80s under Reagan. Or the post world war 2 boom the Z guard had... when all the GIs came back, started having families and using the z guard in the training room. Fast forward to now and Craig really shook up the establishment with this resurgence. Sure I do not always agree with his rhetoric or methods, but ultimately he gets the job done. I believe his last fight with Pedro was stolen from him. Someone tampered with the judges scoring system.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Very nice instructional!

The Pendejo Guard by Craig Jones
Awesome of the B-team to release some free content of good quality
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Very good details
Kimura Hunting by Kazushi Sakuraba
This instructional video is sneaky in how informative it is- Sakuraba teaches some veteran details about opening up kimura attacks from the top, transitioning from kimura to armbar attacks, sneaky wrist attacks which can be effective in themselves but also assist in finishing upper body attacks, and a lot more. It is also a great watching process because you watch how Bernardo and Craig Jones learn the techniques and implement their own details - particularly one part where Craig dissects an attack from kimura trap. It is definitely well worth the price as well as well worth the time for multiple watches. Short but very content dense.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Awesome instructional.
Half Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Very easy to understand and put into use. John Danaher is one of the best for a reason and it’s cause he can break down more complex topics so it’s easier to understand and perform.

Battle Tested Pressure Passing by Bernardo Faria
This breaks pressure passing and the over under down in a way I was able to literally use the day after I watched it. Great for older guys who want to shut down some of those new guards before they get started.
My New Wave game
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: A New Philosophy Of Positional Escapes by John Danaher
Fantastic! My escapes has significantly improved, then immediately going on the attack with kipping, blocking techniques against opponents wedges, shields, huge improvement on my elbow escapes, back escapes, hand fighting. I now have spinning escapes, high leg escapes. You learn not only to be extremely difficult to pin, but to escape and immediately go to arm bars, triangles, heel hooks. As one can go from giving up back to Head Fighting to a Leg attack. Today I rolled from Kuzushi to guillotine. Then from Side elbow escape to triangle.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Awesome
Down Under Leg Attacks by Craig Jones
Leg attacks in detail awesome
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Insightful
They Shall Not Pass by Gordon Ryan
Great detail, insightful concepts and two almost too good looking people in the frame, great quality on every frame of this production. I do most gi, but this kind of tweaked my brain into som insights - from guard make sure to control ukes inside leg position. and as a passer in nogi, aim for north south position. (getting passed legs is one thing - but imo its difficult to control the initial side position in no gi...) onward on the journey! thanks alot!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great instructional
Exit The System by Garry Tonon
This instructional is good and makes me feel as though im making progress after every training session
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Another great instructional from Ante
Killing The Far Side Arm by Ante Dzolic
Ante provides a clear and thoughtful instruction. He provides simple and very effective techniques to attack from side control and north south. Perhaps the most under appreciated instructional host at BJJ Fanatics.
Coming from Bjj, start with gripping?
Grip Like a World Champion 2.0 by Jimmy Pedro
Im glad to be able to study this! I didnt know anything about gripping in judo so being introduced to it all - defensive grips like european grips or "russian grip" etc is so very useful! grip breaks and Jimmys thoughts on "being able to throw each side" and stance.. Its amazing to learn these things from such a guy! Thanks Pedro and Bjjfanatics.com!
Another Phenomenal Series from Dave and Vinny
Blackout Hybrid Cradle Gi System by David Petrone
I've had the pleasure of working with Dave in person, and was very very excited to see him dropping a gi series. His approach to hybrid grappling is awesome. I've taken away several details that I've immediately put into action on the mats. Highly recommend!!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Fantastic Series
Leg Attacks & Grappling Hacks by Dean Lister
This is a great series for both Gi and No Gi. It goes well beyond leglocks. It will serve as a great reference.

Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
The guard passing instructional by John Danaher is absolutely phenomenal! John teaches you the core principals of passing your opponents guard, so you don't just learn the moves, but you recognize certain patterns and milestones that you have to reach in order to pass your opponent's guard. Phenomenal!

The Coyote Half Guard by Lucas Leite
nice detail
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great instructional
A great instructional that is direct and to the point. Some nice entries from common positions and nothing that requires extreme flexibility. The demonstrated setups also includes other submission options to help counter your opponent's possible reactions. A worthy addition to any training library.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Helped my closed guard a lot

Mastering Uchi Mata by Travis Stevens
I started from the beginning with this throw. I love how he teach control in the traditional lifting uchimata. I keep returning to this dvd to add variations as to from what grips and positions to practice this throw. Thanks Travis, youre an inspiration, and an entertaining educator
Danaher Classic Solid Analysis and profound technique
Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Great instructional. As expected from this analytic mind of Danaher. Instructions are clear and well structured and the focus lies on an approach relying on the most effective techniques based on a solid concept of guard passing. The only missing thing would be a mind map. That would be the awesome top pinnacle. Even though the DVD is awesome in itself already.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:A classic
Down Under Leg Attacks by Craig Jones
Great introduction to the modern leg lock game!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Insightful and a bit frustrating
Finding The Darce Choke Everywhere by Joel Bouhey
I Love some of the stuff Joel has produced but after testing out every single one of these drace-chokes I still just cant get it to work as a choke - its always a crank in nogi for me. But the various entries is still legit and all. I spent about 2-3 hours with a friend trying it out, researched youtube aswell, but still more of a crank than a choke. Thanks to Joel, but what this did most was push me towards greater success with Gi-darce and learning the brabo-choke :)
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:EPIC!!

The Science Of Combat Conditioning by Brendan Weafer
Gave me a lot to think about and apply. However needs to provide more details on structuring workouts, how often and when and a pdf with example workouts for various levels. Otherwise its very good.
