Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent Purchase
The Coyote Half Guard by Lucas Leite
For a long time I have struggled in bottom half-guard, I almost accepted my half-guard being smashed, then passed; however, I gave this instructional a try and I have no regrets. Leite goes over each of the techniques in a well-thought and clear manner- even the smaller details don't get skipped over. I really enjoy looking over this package, to give me more ideas and how not to accept defeat when in half-guard. 'The Coyote Guard' is truly one of the best instructional sets out there.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:A must for every BJJ beginner
Foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Bernardo Faria
Buying this instructional was the real help for my first months in BJJ and it remains helpful after the year of constant training for almost a year by now. The huge variety of BJJ techniques may be pretty intimidating for a beginner. But with these videos one can follow up professor's instructions after the class and develop one's first game plans based on these basic but pretty effective moves that encompass the whole basic curriculum and some of the Faria's not that basic (but accessible for the beginners though) signature moves like the lapel single leg from the knee shield. If you're new to the sport and want to find a single instructional that may be helpful for you - this is THE ONE.

Fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu 2-Pack Bundle by Bernardo Faria
A great primer of BJJ. This video has provided a good path for me to follow as a new white belt. I feel like these are the basic moves that need to be mastered. I book mark specific things I want to work on in class and then shadow roll those moves as drills. Then I’ll work on those in class. After class I’ll write down the results and other moves I feel I need to improve upon. Then I’ll watch the video again and repeat it all.

The Straight Armlock Anthology by Lachlan Giles
Lachlans DVDs are excellent if you are looking for an video encyclopedia for you to reference over an extended period of time. I wouldnt recommend trying to “learn it all” as youll just get overwhelmed. Pick a segment or sequence of moves, drill them, and reference back for trouble shooting. The content itself is fantastic, alot of quality moves ive never seen.

The Little Details Matter
Side Closed Guard Attacks by Xande Ribeiro
What I really love about this instructional is how simple yet advanced it is. The concepts are actually really layered and have depth, but Xande makes it easy to understand even for a white belt like myself. I don't wanna be the guy to "roll-and-tell", but I caught a brown belt off-guard in our gym with the "2 On 1 Fail To Rollover Sweep" and after the class he actually asked me to show him the details on how I did it. Thank you for this instructional, Xande!
