Great video for bigger guys
The Lapel Guard Blue Print by Alex Huddleston
Huddleston presents a good lapel system for those of us that might not have the flexibility of some of the current "worm guard" masters.

An Effective Deep Half System!
The No Gi Deep Half Guard 2.0 by Jeff Glover
This was a must buy for me! I attended one of Jeff's deep half seminars a little while back and his deep half system changed my game. He is an amazing instructor that breaks his deep half guard down so that it is simple to learn and apply. That being said this instructional did not disappoint. It reinforced what I had learned from him, and allowed me to see some of the fine details I had missed (and paid for on the mats lol). This is a great instructional on deep half guard!

General Introduction to Mirroring Principle by Wim Deputter
I have been fortunate to visit and train with Wim at his gym in Belgium last year. It is there where he introduced me to his mirroring system. In that week I basically got a crash course and I did was not able to retain many of the key details. That's why I decided to get this DVD. Mirroring really is a complete system because you can apply its principles in multiple areas of your game. Seeing it in action really opened my mind and solidified my understanding of the fact that there are multiple solutions to solve problems in BJJ. I feel that Wim's system provides the most efficient solutions. It relies purely on technique and allows you to use the movements of your opponent to take advantageous positions. I am positive that I have seen other practitioners use similar techniques, but I have never seen anybody teach them. Speaking of teaching - it is definitely something that Wim excels at. The information is presented very clearly , without going out on the tangents or side-tracking. I could write a whole essay on why you should give this system a try, but in short - it will completely change your game. So get the DVD and visit Wim's gym near Brussels if you ever get an opportunity!

Back Attacks Enter The System by John Danaher
Havent had a chance to crack right into this, have only had it on in the background when cooking or catching a few minutes - maybe watched around 2 hours in total, yet I have hit 3 clean RNC subs using the the fundementals picked up from John's methods. Can't wait to really dissect the information as I can tell this is going to change my whole game for the good.
Possibly the best money I've ever spent
Guard Retention: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
At 48, I'm quite a bit older than most of the people at my gym but I have the benefit of being on the bigger/stronger side. My size has allowed me to keep up with the younger/faster crowd for the most part, but one area where they've completely left me behind is in guard retention. With this in mind, I finally ponied up the $ for my first Danaher instructional... and wow, it is SO MUCH MORE than I'd hoped for. I've read some complaints on the internet about how JD repeats things on his instructionals but I find it extremely helpful in that he repeats the things that are the most fundamental and important to know, thus allowing them to sink in more quickly than some of the finer details/specific applications. The net result is that instead of feeling overwhelmed by a ton of things you need to memorize right away, instead you can watch the whole thing once and immediately have a few key things to focus on in class... And then revisit it later (repeatedly) to start filling in the gaps. This instructional was so helpful to me that I've already bought Pin Escapes, Closed Guard and Half Guard as well (even though I'm less sucky at those). I now spend most of my time on the mat consciously trying to improve my game one small piece at a time instead of just trying to get the better of my opponent.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Excellent

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
very detailed, not finished yet, but so far it was worth it, i am a new blue belt, after watching the full mount escapes and the side mount escapes, i used them in class, had good success rate. also just in general helped me think different about escapes.

Systematically Attacking From Closed Guard by Gordon Ryan
Gordon’s got a good coaching voice/mind. As a personal trainer, he gives me all the info that I would want to give to a client if they were performing a new exercise. Context, different variations, what you want to look for vs common errors. Gordon’s very clear and concise.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:A must-have to improve your escapes!
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
As always, John Danaher goes over every detail, but what’s great is how he gives a great big-picture understanding of the principles involved, not just a mishmash of techniques.

The Pipelayer is bringing the knowledge with this one. Deep half taught very effectively. Glover has an excellent teaching style that makes this deep half guard system easy to remember and is simple to approach. Really can’t wait to try this system out for myself and the way Glover teaches will make it quick to implement I believe.

Escapes from Everywhere by Bernardo Faria
I grappled many years ago in the military and had not practiced or rolled in a long time. In recently getting back on the mats, it was tough but Bernardo has done a great job teaching some essential principles and fundamentals of escapes here. High Percentage Chokes: No Gi by Lachlan Giles
This is a great overview of the full suite of conventional no-gi chokes. Like all of Lachlan’s instructionals this is outstanding. He is very good at explaining key concepts, detailed techniques and even practicalities like which chokes to prioritise depending on your body type and limb length. If I had to pick one thing to criticise is the fact that, by Lachlan’s own admission and as set out in the title, the content works better in nogi (although a lot of it translates to the gi too).
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Greatness

Kimura: Enter The System by John Danaher
I’m a white belt that has been training Jiu-Jitsu for over a year in Japan. On cyber Monday I bought myself a copy of your KIMURA: ENTER THE SYSTEM DVD set. I have fallen absolutely in love with the submission and now I try and use it on my training partners all the time. Not only are the explanations in my first language (a luxury while training in Japan) the descriptions and applications are so clear that I picked up on the basics right away. It’s my goal to become the Kimura guy at my dojo and thanks to this DVD I’m on my way!! 10/10 recommend

Coach Danaher does an amazing job of explaining all the aspects of close guard so that you can understand it inside and out. He goes into so much detail, I'm going through the videos a second time and taking notes so that I don't miss anything. The video really helps clarify things.
