Leglocks 101 by Charles Harriott
I had the pleasure of learning from Charles in person, both as a seminar in my gym and on the BJJ Globetrotter Camps. One of the most awesome instructors and people you'll ever meet!

Kimura: Enter The System by John Danaher
These videos are excellent. They are extremely detailed. John does a fantastic job of conveying the information in a clear and easy to understand way. This definitely improved my game. I would recommend it to anyone who was wanting to learn more about the KIMURA SYSTEM!

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Helpful for All - Coming from a wrestler
Takedown Dominance by Andre Galvao
I grew up wrestling, so takedowns are a strength for me. However, I noticed that when I rolled against higher belts, I fell into a lot of traps. Galvao's instructional has already helped me to fine tune aspects of my game to avoid guillotines and translate my wrestling to BJJ. Thoroughly recommend!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Amazing
The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles

Closed Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I was hesitant to invest in one of John’s DVDs, but I’m glad I did. John introduces a few key principles and reinforces these concepts throughout each volume. The elbow across the centerline is worth its weight in gold.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Solid instructional
Z-Guard Destruction by Victor Silverio
I stopped into a class once and Victor was teaching it. He demonstrated how he passes the z guard, and it changed my approach to passing. When I found out he had an instructional set that would include those same very techniques, plus much more, I had to buy it. I'll say that I was not disappointed, not one bit. I've rarely bought or spent money on DVD sets, but I knew I needed this one. If you need to change your approach to passing z guard, this set may be exactly what you need.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Awesome

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Too Game-JT Torres
No Gi Fundamentals: Top Game by JT Torres
Not only is JT a great competitor but a great teacher as well. This dvd is laid out properly starting from the closed guard and then working to pass open guard. I picked up many details I was missing to keep me more safe in the closed guard. I highly recommend this dvd for white through black belt. You’re awesome JT!

Closed Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Now I know my Closed Guard way better than before (and yes, before that video I knew Youtube...). Now I know why so many people and even world class BJJ-practitioners mention to study John Danahers instruction videos. Now I know that it probably won‘t be my last...

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Nutrition finally making sense!
30 Day Fighter Challenge by Lockhart and Leith
I've been training martial arts for almost 30 years and in a constant battle with my weight. I've pretty much always been fat, even when strict dieting. Never really understood what and why I should eat, so losing weight was just eating less. This instructional has changed all of that. For the first time every, after just an hour of watching and reading the e-book, I actually feel like I understand nutrition. There's obviously a lot more to learn, but George has given me great foundation of how the body uses the food it gets and how that can be optimised. Like George explains at the start, he wants people to understand WHY they are eating certain things.... and finally I think I do. That will hopefully make the right nutrition choice easier to make....
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Best Place to Start For A Beginner
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Coming back to Martial Arts after decades of absence, this video is the shortcut to success I was looking for. John Danaher applies the analytical skills he learned studying philosophy to reduce the sport to its fundamentals. You can't go wrong with this one.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great instructor
Leglocks 101 by Charles Harriott
Really good introduction to leglocks. Makes it simple and clear to understand the how and why of each technique
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Russian working mentally, got to love it.
Sambo Academy: Combat Sambo by Ivan Vasylchuk
Comparing this instruction to most others on this side I would call it more of a trainingssession than anything else. It doesn’t promise flashy secrets to revolutionise your game. It’s simple techniques with a recommended number of repetitions. I recommend the video wholeheartedly.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Really good

The Turtle Guard Revisited by Eduardo Telles
Phenomenal
High Percentage Chokes: No Gi by Lachlan Giles
This is a must but instructional for chokes. The way that Lachlan breaks down the content had catching and finishing these techniques soon after purchase. In particular the arm in guillotine and mounted arm in guillotine

Invisible Triangle concepts by Braulio Estima
best Crucifix instruction!
The Crucifix and Loop Choke by Alexandre Vieira
Power Switch Guard Retention and Genius Back Takes by Mikey Musumeci
very good for back defence game
The Mirroring Principle: Back Defense & Being Offensive by Wim Deputter
if you interest in turtle guard and pressure passing game, buy this dvd ! his system is works really well !
Great Leglock instructional
The Estima Lock & New School Toe Hold by Braulio Estima

Foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Bernardo Faria
This video series is an excellent addition to my library. All the fundamentals are clearly explained, the techniques demonstrated well, and it is kept simplistic and easy to follow. For me at my own stage on my bjj journey this is invaluable. A fantastic purchase. Thank you again.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:The Gold Standard Of Half Guard Instructionals
The Battle Tested Half Guard by Bernardo Faria
TLDR: If you want to accelerate your half guard development? This is a must have. I am big, not flexible, back can be sketchy, and super heavies were often flat out too big for me to get my legs around. I wanted to be better, but I was lost in guard. I heard half guard might work. Lock down let +300lbs big people lay on me way too much and was super risky for my training partners' knees when it worked. I didn't have the knee/hip flexibility for knee torque half guard. I heard deep half might work. Found Jeff Glover, loved it, and still use parts of his game, but wanted something a bit more aggressive. I found Bernardo Faria constantly saying his game fit the older grappler so I took a chance on this... If you are a Regular Joe and want/need to play half guard? You MUST have this instructional. Professor Faria provides a simple yet effective framework with trouble shooting. Professor also adds just enough theory to help your entire game grow, e.g., tightness, how many techniques, transitions, etc... How do I get there? What do I do? Alternatives? What if this goes wrong? What if they do this? It worked now what? He has covered it all and even tells you what resource you may need next. Deep half guard is often presented as a more passive position. IMHO when under a super heavy, we should pursue reversals aggressively. What I like most about this instructional is that Professor Faria presents the position(s) with the single leg half and shows you how to put them together so you can be as aggressive as you need to be. The icing on the cake was the live rolling. Watching Professor work the positions and techniques was INVALUABLE. It helped me see what to expect and had to do to make the position work. Yes, a good attacker, sloppy head positioning, and/or rushing will get you choked so learn to attack, retreat, and defend! Fernando Reis is a BEAST! When I was thinking of buying this I heard one complaint, "I don't like all the lapel stuff." That is okay! I need my fingers for work so I play the position on a single leg with a gable grip right above the knee (Jeff Glover style), but this instructional is still my definitive top resource. I sacrifice a bit of control for a more universal game, but ALL of Professor's core concepts are still applicable. Note, the lapel stuff is nice to know when you are outgunned and/or tired. Better to have more options and need less. I bought the no gi instructional too just because of the quality of instruction and the lapel free approach. It compliments this set well and adds unique info. This was my first BJJ Fanatics purchase and has been the foundation of my bottom game. I am still learning from Professor Faria in this instructional over a year later. I rewatch and constantly pick up more details. This instructional is the gold standard of what I want from an instructional to add a core aspect to my game. This is one of my best investements into an instructional hands down.
Response from BJJ FanaticsNice! That's our goal - helping the BJJ community to improve faster. Keep studying and working hard!The Turtle Guard GOAT Returns!
The Turtle Guard Revisited by Eduardo Telles
"That's not a guard!" Then how do you keep getting swept? Professor Telles is by far the #1 resource on turtle techniques. I have the original DVD. I bought this instructional because I wanted to pay direct hespects to the man that introduced me to the turtle game. The turtle game is DEVASTATING. At first they may doubt, but eventually guys are hesitant to even try to control you in turtle. Once you master the material, thesweeps/reversals are automatic passes into side control from "bad" positions. This is a great addition to your game if you are older, inflexible, heavy, and/or a half guard player. I feel Professor has more than enough to fill up a full set on this topic so the only downside is that this one just seems a little short. Luckily, I also have the original. I do admit, the topics he covered are what I use the most even with both of his instructionals. So maybe less is more? I really would have loved some live rolls/demonstrations, but Professor has lots of matches online. Given the rise of the headlock attack series, I really wanted to see more depth there. While it wasn't in the original DVD, Professor does cover the topic and get you to the back or into your guard game. This instructional is a great starting point if you want to not only defend, but EFFECTIVELY attack from turtle. Big hespect to Professor Telles!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Awesome BJJ Fanatics series with Lachlan Giles
The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
Lots of great material here with this BJJ Fanatics instructional video series by Lachlan Giles. Lachlan not only shows viewers the technique using drills he also narrates over pre-recorded footage of him using the technique on a live training partner. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I have also one of John Danaher's BJJ Fanatics video series and John just does a better job of explaining things in comparison to Lachlan. This is not a knock on this video series definitely suggest adding to your collection if you're wanting to enhance your BJJ NoGi Half Guard game .
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:All Hail the General!
Side Control Attacks & Submissions: Old School Evolution by Fabio Gurgel
Every instructional I've purchased through Fanatics has been awesome––but this one might be my favorite. As an older player who is also a newcomer to BJJ, I appreciate instruction that is clear, precise, and that relies heavily on fundamentals. Professor Fabio "The General" Gurgel delivers on every level. This man is a champion who trains champions (Marcelo Garcia and Bernardo Faria just to name a few), yet he is able to break down technique in a way that is accessible to the BJJ novice. The way this living legend controls his opponents, manages space, and maintains pressure is a thing of beauty to watch. I can't wait to practice these techniques on the mat!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Really innovating

Open Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
i am pretty sure there are tons of guard focus videos free and ppv, nevertheless what makes this video amazing (besides the usual JD work) is the opponents behavior approach, thatput some order in your system and makes it easier to understand. Very good material to view and review for long time.
