Turning Defensive Cycles Into Offensive Cycles by Chris Paines
Chris Paines is an anomaly. His instructionals are short and don't teach techniques yet they might be the best instructionals on Fanatics. The reason I say this is because when I take one of his concepts onto the mats and focus on it I notice an immediate improvement in my game and I find myself doing things that are in fact techniques which I've never practiced but I arrived at them not by drilling or thinking about the technique but rather by focusing on a more general guiding principle as outlined by Mr Paines. I am a big Danaher and Gordon Ryan fan as those instructionals have their place but don't sleep on this one. I don't think you'll find a better value anywhere for making real, lasting improvements to your grappling. Of course like any instructional it's what YOU do with it. Find a partner and put some time into it and your learning curve will go up.
