Passing the Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I downloaded this because a training partner was giving me fits when I was trying to pass his guard. After watching and drilling the moves in it, I definitely had an easier time passing his guard. But now he’s shown me another hole in my game I need to fix… I guess I’ll download another Danaher instructional to address it.

Hybrid Grappling Explained by Jesse Marez
I recently had the pleasure of watching Jesse Marez’s instructional video for Scientific Wrestling and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! As someone new to the art of scientific wrestling, this instructional video has been a top-notch resource for me. The content is meticulously organized, making it easy to follow along and grasp even the most complex techniques. Jesse’s expertise is evident, and his clear, step-by-step demonstrations from multiple angles ensure that I could replicate the moves. Overall, this is a must-have for anyone serious about mastering scientific wrestling. It's comprehensive, engaging, and highly educational. I can't recommend it enough!

Not good for me
Movement Is Medicine - Mobility Training by Jared Welman
The video is nicely done, it has a lot of content so I'm sure a lot of people will find these video useful. But for me specifically, I found it much less useful. This video simply wasn't a good fit for my needs, body type and flexibility/mobility levels. The squat advice on this video was too dogmatic which I did not appreaciate. And my posterior chain is extremely tight and I don't feel these exercises do much for me in that aspect. There's a couple of moves that I really liked and it includes some squat and bridge movement patterns which are great for sendentary individuals and somehow a lot of mobility videos don't put emphasis on this or completely miss that, I think this video really hits the mark in that regard, so that's good. Again, solid material just not good for me
very effective

Interesting techniques just not communicated very well
The Lapel Submission Matrix System The Positional Trilogy: North South Matrix by Greg Hamilton
There were some interesting techniques that I will try, but as an instructional I found I struggled with it. It only took a few minutes for me to get irritated with him saying the term North South matrix, which literally just means North South, when the opponent is on the side and you have the kimura grip. I also found him quite difficult to follow, I didn't feel like he's very good at forming sentences (he doesn't finish all his sentences, which doesn't instill a lot of confidence in what he's saying, and he often didn't explain the why behind the techniques very well, which I felt was required, especially as some of the things he was instructing aren't the the standard of techniques. I was a bit disappointed to be honest.
