Butterfly Guard Re-Discovered 2 by Adam Wardzinski
I am not good at butterfly guard, but I love watching Adam compete so I bought this instructional. First Adam is really a wonderful instructor. I love the videos so much I just bought another of his. Why you may ask because same day as I watched and took notes on a sequence he taught I went to class and was hitting the move on everyone and a couple of people I caught twice in one roll. It's amazing to have this level of instruction where you can go to class a preform the move in live rolls. If you're not sure about buying one of Adams videos I hope I've set an expectation on what you'll receive.

Mind-Blowing Detail To Revolutionise Your Grappling Game
Dominant Positions, Brutal Submissions by Joel Bane
I got this after loving Bane's other instructional on leg rides and hammerlocks, but I could not be prepared for just how good Dominant Positions, Brutal Submissions could be. Right from the first technique, it left me open-mouthed. Joel shows positions and submissions you'll be familiar with if you've grappled for a bit but reveals how to make it 10x more effective. The devil is truly in the detail. The depth he shows to a submission that you may have found 'might' go on eventually into a devastating submission in seconds with an inch of movement is incredible. This tutorial is a game-changer. I also like how he shows what to do if someone defends a position/submission attempt and how to take advantage of that.
This is the move I needed
As a beginnier, I was searching for a surprising lock (or grip). This is exaclty the instructional I needed. The reverse armlock can really surprise the opponent, especially because you don't see them often at my level. I'm a "disciple" of Magid. Already bought Gorilla grips and Home run baseball choke. I like the way he teaches also. Big up to Magid from Corsica. Peace to him, BJJ Fanatics and the stranglers ))

Half Guard Encyclopedia by Leonardo Nogueira
This series felt like it could have been chopped and sold separately... it's a lost of value crammed into one. On top of that Leonardo's style of teaching is the best I have seen. He scaffolds the lesson into pieces that builds to comprehension of over arching concepts. I have purchased from accomplished grapplers several times, but few of them know how to articulate what and why they do what they do. I know Leonardo is an amazing grappler, but he has the heart of a teacher. A part I really appreciated is the detail he gave to the camera... He would show it from every angle then with and without his uke. The uke in this series is good too. I know for me I get annoyed with uke's that don't seem to be part of the lesson plan (******) or are some hot chick in yoga pants. I can't say enough good things about this instructional. Leonardo worked really hard to transfer his apparent knowledge. You will not be disappointed in this series he over delivers over and over!
