Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Matt does an outstanding job
The Closed Guard Compendium by Matt Thornton
Matt does an outstanding job breaking down his concepts and theories in an easily understandable way. The methodology behind his closed guard strategy makes a tremendous amount of sense and is something that should be ingrained in the mind of not only a new white belt but also a seasoned black belt. Fantastic instructional!!!

New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Side Attacks - Building a Devastating Side Control System by John Danaher
The technical approach of this series has had a profound impact on my training. The systems based approach was fairly easy to digest and easy to review. I am looking forward to other instructionals in this series to enhance my time on the mats.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great for any aged grappler
Middle Aged BJJ by Tom DeBlass
This is a straight forward, no-nonsense approach which can be easily adopted by any skill level or age. As the body gets older this instructional helped reinforce that age takes its toll with a reduction in speed flexibilty and recovery this is a "must have" for any older grappler who wishes to remain active. The techniques have helped me on the mats with teammates that are stronger faster and younger than myself.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great insight and explanations.
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: No Gi Guard Passing by John Danaher
Great insight and explanations.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Ideas for improvement
The Ultimate Rubber Guard by Eddie Bravo
As I'm a white belt, this instructional is a bit advanced. But still, it gave me great ideas to improve my bottom game.

Closed Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Great instructional which not only helps explain techniques but explains the main principles behind the moves shown.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great follow up to Middle Aged BJJ
Middle Aged BJJ 2: No Gi by Tom DeBlass
As with the first instruction Middle Aged BJJ this one follows up with straight forward, no-nonsense approach. Understanding that age takes its toll with a reduction in speed flexibilty and recovery this is a "must have" for any older grappler who wishes to remain active. The techniques have helped me on the mats with teammates that are stronger faster and younger than myself.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Hella dope
Yo these Gaurd passes are simple and highly effective and Bill drops a lot of key detail's after passing to maintain control and multiple options you have when passing. Your Gaurd passing will level up.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:An upper graduate course on developing the perfect system for each individual.
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Side Attacks - Building a Devastating Side Control System by John Danaher
At this point in my jiu jitsu journey, I'm trying to tighten up and refine my game. This instructional sh I especially you how to start building your game (or if you're coaching, someone else's game) from the ground up and in the most efficient way possible. If building a system of control and attack that constantly keeps your opponents on the run is what you're looking for, this is it. I'm now going to have to go back through all of John's instructionals from leg locks to the latest because my understanding and perception of bjj has changed and evolved to the point I see all the mistakes I made along the way. John is the perfect instructor for helping you find your game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Slava Rybalka

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Catch Wrestling Takedowns/Submissions by Jake Shannon
Catch Wrestling Takedowns by Jake Shannon
I have followed Jake Shannon and the Catch As Catch Can movement for several years now and I was excited to finally have some access to the Dark Side that is Catch. I use these takedowns and submissions from the Jake Shannon series and I love it. My little group of guys I teach also love how brutal these techniques can be. Learning some Catch basics has tremendously improved my game.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:A Double Wristlock Masterclass
Championship Level Catch Wrestling by Josh Barnett
An in-depth look at gaining, keeping, and using the double wrist lock from a catch wrestling perspective. In catch, the double wrist lock is considered a position (or maybe a way of life) and Barnett treats it that way. This is an excellent video. Highly recommended.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Gives you options to build
Automatic Omoplata System by Clark Gracie
Gives you options to build around the Omoplata. Builds more of a conscious thought process around the Omoplata. More importantly it makes the Omoplata more of a conscious act and route to take akin to a triangle, armbar, kimura.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Really Impressed !
Just the breakdown of the elbows is worth the price of the instructional.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent single subject video
Flower Power by Malachy Friedman
Don't let the gimmicky marketing fool you, this is a very useful in-depth look at the flower sweep. A nicety of Friedman's presentation is that is short. There is no fat on this video, he shows the sweep then variations, setups, and flows from it. Highly recommended.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Best value in a kimura video
Grech breaks down the kimura from a catch wrestling perspective. This is an excellent video, one of the best I have ever purchased at BJJFanatics. There is no fat on this video, Grech hits all the important details without any fuss. His teaching style is the opposite of a John Danaher.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Ethan goes over some basic
Finish on the Back by Ethan Crelinsten
Ethan goes over some basic escapes and then shows how to counter them. He shows an interesting system that I hadn't seen before. I was worried this would be the same as Danaher's straight jacket system, but I was happy that it is completely different. Ethan's approach helped me deal with stubborn opponents.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:very good

The Running Man & The Baby Bridge: Essential Postures To Keep You Safe by Priit Mihkelson
One of the three best videos I have ever purchased from BJJFanatics. The position names seem silly at first blush but don't be put off. Priit's work is based on a profound knowledge of grappling strategy. This will improve your game and let you have more on on the mat.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Best video in my collection
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: No Gi Half Guard 3 Directions of Attack by John Danaher
Of all the videos I’ve purchased from BJJ Fanatics, this is by far the most helpful. Danaher’s techniques are clearly presented, logically organized, and easy to replicate. My half guard retention improved significantly, and my sweeps and wrestle ups have become more and more frequent. Now I’m working on adding his recommended leg attacks. I can’t recommend this series highly enough!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Firstly, everything Lachlan says is
The Body Lock Pass by Lachlan Giles
Firstly, everything Lachlan says is important, and there’s a ton of good info here. My only issue is that it seems to be presented in a strange order, and jumps around quite a bit. For me this was kind of annoying. Still, worth buying if you have questions about the body lock.
I have almost all of
Protecting & Generating Dynamic Offense From The Turtle by Priit Mihkelson
I have almost all of Priit's instructionals. His concepts have definitely made it harder for my training partners to submit me. If you want to learn how to be comfortable in uncomfortable positions , Priit's instructionals will help.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:A conceptual look at retaining guard
The Grilled Chicken Guard Retention System by Priit Mihkelson
Priit's material is just fantastic, particularly if you are past the age where you can coast on athleticism. The grilled chicken is easy to incorporate in your game because Priit presents it as a series of concepts and principles rather than techniques.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Nice videos!
