Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Heavy controlling mount that will wear out your opponent
The Peak Mount by Waldo Zapata
Straight to the point. The techniques are shown a few times but all the details are in there. If you need to see it again, then you can rewind and watch again. I just wish that perhaps on some techniques, the angle of the camera could have shown a different perspective, but you can still get the jist of it. The peak mount techniques itself are great. What a great way to apply a ton of pressure in mount and I have never seen this kind of mount before so I am happy to add this to my game. I have always wondered how come we can apply a ton of pressure while passing and in side control, but when we mount, the opponent is free to move around and buck like a bull that sometimes you lose the position or have to transition to another position. This is why usually people prefer side control over mount. With peak mount, you are able to apply a ton of pressure in mount the way its meant to be. So if you like pressure from top then this is for you.
Great Instructional
Advanced Crucifix No Gi Set Ups by Dallas Niles
Dallas Niles Advanced Crucifix No Gi is a great instructional. He is very clear when talking and descriptive when teaching the moves on here. The quality is very good and great explanation and deep knowledge of what he is teaching. You can tell he been studying and doing crucifix for a long time. The double under section which is volume one, is very good how to deal with wrestlers and sit out position when they are in turtle. The Darce choke to crucifix and yoshidafix is great breakdown of what Baret Yoshida does on those two setups. There is great counter lessons in this also against over/under and stack passes. It is great instructional for people who has understanding of crucifix and wanting to add more to their crucifix game instead of the standard turtle entry. Its a very solid instructional on position and crucifix game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:FANTASTIC Overview of the turtle!
The Turtle Guard Revisited by Eduardo Telles
This is a great overview of some of the turtle concepts, sweeps, and reversals from turtle. It is a good supplement to Eduardo Telles instructional on turtle and octopus guard. And it is good along with Neil Melanson's "Tactical Turtle". This instructional gives you some ideas for sweeps and transitions to and through turtle and lets you show your back to your opponent on your own terms.

The Modern Defensive Guard by Ryan Hall
You can’t not purchase this instructional unless you’re prepared to become an member of the dinosaur bjj academy. Seriously, without getting lost in an all-too-common techniques video, Ryan and his interactive partner (how unique is that!) deconstruct common beliefs that are limiting your overall understanding of grappling while at the same provide you with eye-opener concepts and principles that should form the basis of your game, and from which, an appropriate bjj castle is built with traps and entanglements that are structurally sound and increase tour mental awareness. Fascinating stuff. Warning: many times throughout the instructional I heard a loud “whoosh” sound. It was just me pulling my bjj head out of my bjj ***. Forewarned is forearmed!
