The Battle Tested Half Guard by Bernardo Faria
Very simple yet effective techniques. I really liked that Bernardo shows multiple variations for each sweep based on what the opponent does. I also appreciate the videos of him rolling with resisting opponents, it puts things into perspective, especially how hard you sometimes have to work to get into the right position.

Awesome supplement to Gordon’s & Danaher’s instructionals. Both in the sense that No Gi takedowns aren’t really covered by them as much and also nice to have an approach that’s not as “high-brow”, but at the same time not lacking in technical quality.

I just ordered it like 20 min ago so obviously i havent received it yet lol. But anything from Tom Deblass is friggin gold. I LOVE lockdown so when i saw that Tom has something out with his own flavor to it I HAD to get it!! Tom and Chewy are really the ones that i follow consistently (not a stalker) lol. Yes i watch everyone else but the 2 named individuals are fellow big boys who move around like they weigh 162.7 lbs :joy: Cant wait to get it. This thing says i can watch them already but havent been able to figure it out. If not ill just impatiently wait for the :mailbox_closed:

I like Tom Deblass videos, he’s straight forward and I he keeps it simple. I see a lot of ego in other professors and he offers a unique perspective. I’m 45 so I love This video and specifically it shows how to slow down and put yourself in beneficial positions for people who have there body’s best interest in mind.

The Complete North South Choke by Marcelo Garcia
As an older beginner I wanted to learn a technique that fits my level ( or rather lack )of athleticism Although the instruction is focusing on one technique, I feel like I am learning many more general concepts and feel this is useful for me as a early blue belt to get a better understanding of BJJ in general.
