Shin to shin!!!
The Essential Shin To Shin System by Shawn Williams
I’ve always used the shin to shin guard for an easy double as shown in this video. Now there are more techniques to add for shin to shin guard that flow easily into each other. This has helped my game a lot.

Cradle passing is getting more and more popular, especially in no-gi. This instructional teaches how to do it in gi as well, and is a great addition to your guard passing game. Braulio gives clear and straight to the point instructions, so you can start implementing the techniques ASAP. Highly recommended!

BJJ For The Street by Burton Richardson
Always cool and interesting to see a complete martial artist apply and teach techniques with clear and concise instruction….which, demonstrates Mr. Richardson’s deep tool bag set of skills. A nice guy teaching priorities for different situations.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent compliment to your open guard game
Modern Reverse De La Riva by Jason Rau
Excellent instructional, even for an older hobbyist like myself. RDLR is my favorite way to lock in a more static position from open guard on opponents who are faster and more athletic than me. This instructional compliments Danaher and Ryan's open guard series, and gives you a solid RDLR game plan when you feel that wrestling up is not the best option for you.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Great for ultra heavyweights
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Side Attacks - Building a Devastating Side Control System by John Danaher
Side control is a staple for any heavy player. Predominately ultra heavyweights. This gave me a lot of in-site on what works and doesn’t for being an ultra heavy. As usual impeccable information. Just wish maybeeeeee it was a tad simpler and there was some rolling application after. That makes dvds worth it for me.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Learn to escape the highest level attacks from the back.
The Pillars of Defense: Back Escapes by Gordon Ryan
Gordon Ryan has become one of the premiere instructors of jiu-jitsu, not just one of the greatest competitors of all time (if not the greatest). His instructional bypass all the low percentage garbage that doesn't work at a high level so that you can create a game that's void of waisted effort and time. This series is no different. Gordon teaches us the escapes and the principles that that make him uncontrollable from the back. The difference between this instructional and others is that Gordon uses these escapes on a regular basis where most other high level competitors teach escapes but abide bad positions so often that when they end up there they look like white belts and panic. You can be sure of several things when watching one of Gordon's game changing instructional; he won't leave anything out (no secret techniques he won't show you, you can watch him use the systems he teaches at the highest levels), he will over deliver (more info than you can absorb in one or two viewings), and your game will take an amazing jump forward. Thank you Mr. Ryan

The Pillars of Defense: Back Escapes by Gordon Ryan
By far the best back defence series I have ever seen. Mr. Gordon Ryan is an amazing teacher which is a rare gift. I have been using the techniques in this series over the last month and back escapes have become much easier. The bottom line is they work! 5 Stars all the way. I will definitely be buying another series with Mr. Gordon Ryan

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
This Pin escapes and turtle escapes video from John Danaher is awesome, it really opened my eyes to all the possibilities and ways to escape. Straightforward and easy to understand, but also appeals to those wanting a very technical approach. I found particularly interesting the part about what JD calls a rising shrimp and how it plays into formulating a better escape tactic for certain scenarios.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Immediately useful

New Wave Jiu Jitsu: No Gi Half Guard 3 Directions of Attack by John Danaher
Amazing instructional! In typical Danaher fashion, you learn so much more than just the topic “Half Guard” of the DVD. In addition to getting a very thorough understanding of No-Gi half guard, he also explains concepts of No-Gi grips, wrestling up, and so much more. There’s no comparison to Danaher’s knowledge and his ability to break-down concepts and applications of jiu-jitsu!

Power Ride: A New Philosophy on Pinning by Craig Jones
This is an awesome series that really explains how the branches of no-gi grappling (point vs sub only) should properly diverge. The goals are different, and the pins SHOULD be different. Craig is a fantastic instructor and as we know and love is one of the best effed up grappling humorists on the planet. B-team Proud! :)

The Complete Butterfly Guard by Marcelo Garcia
This was one of the first instructionals I purchased from BJJ Fanatics. I was just starting at the time. The butterfly guard isn't considered one of the "fundamentals" in BJJ, but I think it's getting to the point that it should. It made a huge difference for me, even as a white belt. And it's a guard that is played through all the levels. This instructional should be required learning in my opinion.

The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
Incredibly useful. This covers some of the overall principles of half guard play which are hard to get from watching youtube videos that focus on one sweep/attack at a time. I also really appreciate narrated rolling sections, I have learned from them much more than I thought I would.
