The Catch Wrestling Formula by Neil Melanson
Neil’s instruction and detail are top notch, and this instructional is kinda of a variety pack from the other ones. This is a good introduction to Neil’s style, which while the video is called “catch,” is really a variety of disciplines mixed together as Neil himself later elaborates. Nevertheless, Neil’s approach to grappling is excellent, and shows many techniques that are unique. My only complaints about this video is that some of the same techniques are even repeated from DVD 2 to DVD 3, and that the production quality is not so high. His later instructions seem to be much better throughout in terms of organization. Still it’s worth a pick-up if you’re a Neil fan, or want an intro to his teaching.

I’ve been training mixed-martial arts and jiu-jitsu for about a year, and although my grappling on the ground is really good, actually getting to that point proved difficult (which is why oftentimes I pulled guard.) This video was a really good equalizer to help my wrestling get to… not necessarily perfect but lay down a good foundation. Khabib puts everything really straightforward, no nonsense.

I highly recommend this instructional to anyone who already has some basic knowledge and would like to incorporate the brutal and effective techniques into their game! The techniques are well explained and can be implemented directly on the mat!

This is easily one of the best Leg Lock instructionals out there, in my opinion. You get what you pay for, & so much more. Lachlan is one of the best at breaking things down and showing the right amount of detail to help Change your whole leg locking game. This instructional is like getting a treasure chest with just tons of little nuggets and details. So much to learn in this, & Giles does a great job at not overwhelming you, while at the same time making it very understandable. Recommend to anyone at any level, interested in learning the Dark Arts
