Side Control Escapes: Basics To Advanced Concepts by Andre Galvao
There's already so, many side control or any escapes in BJJ Fanatics. So if you had to choose, this is a good one. Though he's showing it only in No-Gi, it's still a very good video to watch and use on your mat time, to polish your defences.

Off With Their Head: The Arm Triangle by Neil Melanson
I'm already a lifetime 35% off member so don't need the discount but still loved the video and would say if I did not. Neil and Danaher are my favorite trainers, although very different in their approach. Danaher is the 6 course gourmet meal while... Like the Movie "What about Bob" "Meat and Potatoes" for arm Triangles. Right to the point, 30 minute ish Vids getting you right into the drills. Just enough theory, but more heavy with the arm triangle and how to get there from various situations. "Learn to teach, teach to learn" and after watching these I took my two kids through all the drills and they got it right away. Very satisfying training video, thanks again Neil.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Buy it!
Cradle of Filth by Neil Melanson
Neil teaches simple and efficient ways to attack the Z-Guard, Butterfly and Turtle using the cradle. Lots of attacking options from a very controlling position. Would highly recommend. Easy to watch and digest.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great conceptual videos with applications to BJJ, not just MMA
The Fundamentals of MMA by Greg Jackson
Great videos! This is really about foundational concepts and more importantly strategies for combat sports in general. He gives example techniques from BJJ, wrestling and striking/MT to illustrate the concepts and strategies. A total of about 2 hours of videos. While most videos teach striking as a discipline and grappling as a separate discipline, his concepts connect the disciplines and he gives good examples of how striking and grappling can be used together so 1+1 = 3. That said, you could take these concepts and strategies and also just apply them only to your BJJ game (gi or no gi) if you wanted to. I think it's complementary to concept focused videos (from Danaher for example) in that this is more about combat strategies than just concepts and there's really nothing about the details of techniques in these videos. For example, you can take these strategies and layer them over Danaher's Enter The System series and add another dimension to what you get out of Danaher's videos. He doesn't tie the different strategies together explicitly in these videos but says he'll do them in a future video. Because it's at the strategy level, you'd have to think about how to apply this to your own game and techniques. The great teaching and clear concepts/strategies really makes you wish this was more like the 8 volume Danaher sets but hopefully more videos to come. Of the many videos out there, I thought this was pretty unique and refreshing from one of the legends. I have zero connection with Greg Jackson or any of his gyms.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Gordon’s instructionals are as amazing as his matches
Systematically Attacking From Open Guard Seated Position by Gordon Ryan
Details are mindblowing, I **** everywhere and particularly in open guard, but just watching this can change your view about many thing you thought you we’re doing correct and we’re wrong and you didn’t even know. It’s amazing, thank you to Gordon and BJJ Fanatics for putting this together.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Wow.
Feet To Floor: Volume 1 Fundamental Standing Skills by John Danaher
I did not expect this. The size of information is the double of other Danaher's instructionals which is usually the double of other thorough instructionals. It Covers all the basic stuff. I didn't know what to do when standing beyond trying the typical takedown drilled in class as a single leg and get choked so my game was wait for the single leg and choke people following the reactive entries that I already learned from Mr. D. or perform what I thought that was a collar drag... Very sad. Now I have a plan of action and know what to seek depending on the stance, grips and movement of my opponent and perform an advantageous collar drag or ankle pick or a single leg not being choke which is immensely easier from the right grips and stance. BUT what I didn't expect was seeing Danaher enjoying so much teaching it, he smiled, laughed and joked twice as usual. Volumes 7 and 8 were the second surprise. I am not making spoilers of them but I anticipate thousands of memes and discovered tons of actual self defense advice, ruthless, bloody, well beyond takedowns and Japanese terminology. Hockey? Seriously? Surprising. Overwhelming. Ruthless. Danaheresque.
Response from BJJ FanaticsWe are glad to be able to make a difference in your game! :hugging:Game changer
Automatic Omoplata System by Clark Gracie
Omoplata was not the submission I would have chosen as a specialty. After watching Bernardo Faria Omoplata Everyone I started seeing it everywhere and hitting it all the time. Then I ran into Clark Gracie and purchased this digital. I’ve watched it 20 times and drilled every move at least 100x. Since then my game totally changed. I’m just a blue belt but I don’t care your rank if I hit that move you’ve got a problem. :call_me_hand:

Feet To Floor: Volume 1 Fundamental Standing Skills by John Danaher
First I was not sure because of the high price, so I waited for a good discount. I bought the DVD with the 50% discount a while ago and must say, that I even wouldn' t regret buying it for the full price. Excellent material, worth every cent.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Old school efficient bjj.
Old School Efficient BJJ by Chris Haueter
Really good techniques that would work in a real life self defense situation . This is geared towards self preservation in the real world the roots of gracie bjj. Great techniques well explained and adds little extra details to the fundamentals that take it to another level. Chris really is a master and what he does and explains in a manner the average mere mortal can understand. This is one tough dude. You also get other people showing techniques who are all very good teachers. To finish some MMA tips at end which not yet got too . All in all well worth it I got it in one of sales so well pleased. Love some of the bjj fanatics stuff really improved my understanding of the process of learning this difficult art.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Awesome
Half Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I had seen some of the instructionals of the enter the system series so I was familiar with Danaher's style and expected a high quality product but the GFF series provide something that a rookie that started at 41 like me needs like water in the desert... TIME!!!! I explain myself, from GFF I got a plan, an overview of what should be expected and what should I do in every situation, guard retention, half guard, open guard... So I skipped years of try and error. I go to class, roll, take mental note of my failures, go back to THE SOURCE find the answer and next time you should try something different because it is not gonna work again with me. In the case of half guard it provides dominance, I have a clear picture of what I should do in half guard so I control the situation. I am in control, sometimes I fail to perform what I am thinking out of pure clumsiness but I know what is my failure and what I should do next time. When I roll with higher white belts, blue belts, people stronger or heavier than me they don't expect that someone with 30 hours of rolling sweep them, escape and sometimes finish them. I devoted massive amounts of time to study these instructionals during the lockdown and it now pays off. When you get old time becomes priceless, here in bjjfanatics these guys are selling you time in exchange of money. I paid gladly so far and I feel extremely grateful. Yesterday I was rolling and the blue belt I was rolling with after passing my de la Riva a couple of times explained me how I had a year of two of defeats before starting winning, two tripod sweeps and a Sumi gaeshi later from my part he was being explained by our instructor not to let all weight forward into my guard to prevent further Sumi gaeshis, John Danaher explained me that sooner... The final combat finished with me in top side position. I would call them the fast forward series :)
