The Art Of Pressure: Half Guard Passing by Luiz Dentinho
The Art Of Pressure: Half Guard Passing by Luiz Dentinho
I recently found out about Luiz Dentinho by luck through Instagram. This DVD goes over several concepts that will change your game. Luiz Dentinho first shows the techniques, then goes through MAJOR details for every little movement. He explains why techniques work and when to use them. You will learn so many concepts about leverage and weight distribution. I will continue to support his DVD's and content. I strongly recommend checking out his youtube channel to see what you will learn in this DVD. https://www.youtube.com/user/DentinhoBJJ.

Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
Very impressed with this instructional. I think Paul Schreiner is one of the best instructors out there. He truly understands Jiu Jitsu, and has a way of breaking techniques down to their core principals and the key points. He gives you a really clear game plan with a clear sense of direction, and also how to adjust and react to the various defenses you will encounter. I’m looking forward to more of his instructionals with bjjfanatics.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:A truly game-changing Instructional
Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
This DVD set is a hidden gem. Paul's ability to take jiujitsu technique and concepts and break them down into a digestible and comprehensive instruction is second to none. As an instructor, Paul is one of the most prolific teachers whom I have had the pleasure of learning from, so when I saw he was releasing this DVD I knew I must buy a copy. Paul has a cerebral and analytical approach to jiujitsu technique which he uses to find the best nomenclature and terminology to express seemingly minute and invisible small details which make all the difference between having a good guard pass and control and having an unstoppable guard pass and control.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:The Absolute New Definitive Guide To Arm Bars / Arm Locks
Fundamental Armbar Mechanics by Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec
Let me first just state this is a must purchase. At first, when I started watching the first hour 40mins of the material I thought this was great material and a fair buy. Unbeknownst to me I still had another 3 hours of mind-blowing content which made the ROI on this purchase an absolute no brainer, couple that with a BJJ fanatics discount code and this is a must-have. The first half of the instructional is no-gi and the second half is gi but the game applies to both, via Fox's “universal grips” he teaches us. Fox’s unique teaching approach is effective and digestible for anyone and everyone, his decades of teaching skills really shine through in the instructional. I now see armbars from the top, bottom, side, back, absolutely everywhere.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:short, to the point, and super helpful
The Real Judo Chop And Other Favorites by Kayla Harrison
I loved this video. Kayla offer little tiny details that are often overlooked but make huge differences during sparring. Her break down of that rolling juji was particularly great. Highly recommend!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Paul’s instructionals have been essential to my progress.
Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
Paul Schreiner is one of the best teachers I’ve ever learned from. His precise pressure passing concepts and 1/2 guard details helped me design my personal game and take it to the next level. He has the ability to explain high level concepts in a way that any level of jiu jitsu player can understand and implement. His instructionals are sure to help you see positions and techniques in new ways. For me, his instruction has filled in a lot of the gaps in my game and made everything much tighter and connected.

The Art Of Pressure: Half Guard Passing by Luiz Dentinho
I have watched this DVD thoroughly and it combines technique and concepts to help you to not only pass the halfguard, but understand why you should do the movements. This helps you be more creative, and immediately start using the techniques right away.

Ankle Picks From Everywhere by Bryan Pearsall
Coming from the UK where we don’t have much access to high quality wrestling it was an area of my BJJ that was badly neglected. Due to an injury I have one badly weakened calf muscle and it’s made judo throws impossible. So I tried to focus on trips and then considered ankle picks, which turned out to be a perfect decision. I’m really happy with this instructional, Bryan shows various ankle picks, with the set ups, timing and common reactions explained really clearly. There’s a lot of detail in each technique and it doesn’t feel rushed or painfully slow like some instructionals can be. I’ve had great success using these techniques in the academy and in the only competition I’ve been able to enter before Covid cancelled the upcoming ones. I train more nogi but I’ve found it equally effective in the gi, it’s been a game changer for me. I almost always land in a really strong passing position. I believe this instructional would benefit anyone looking to improve their takedowns as there’s techniques shown for different body types and preferences. For example l use the ankle pick to enter double legs but others may prefer finishing with a high crotch. I also have long arms so the pick from space works well for me. This instructional is definitely value for money. It even includes how to defend against singles and double legs etc. Which I really wasn’t expecting but is a great bonus.

Pressure Passing and Top Game by Rafael Lovato
Excellent instructional, in which every movement has its connection and it offers a lot of options depending on the reaction of the opponent.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Simple, useful and effective techniques!
Half Domination by Tom DeBlass
I did not have Tom de Blass in my radar and I took the opporunity of downloading this video in his free promotion. I am very surprised and satisfied with the video. Tom explains with great detail and simplicy each technique and, as myself being a leg locker, most of his half guard techniques allow to take the leg. I easily take people into half guard, but, as a whit belt, I did not have many resources from there. However, with this video I became quite dangerous when I catch someone in the half guard!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Best instructional so far
The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
Very well structured and explained concepts. This will be by go to reference for a long time now.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great video, been using some
Great video, been using some of the techniques shown during practice.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great series that will help you to get a systematic approach to the closed guard
Systematically Attacking From Closed Guard by Gordon Ryan
I train only no gi, so for me it is great to have the opportunity to learn from on of the best no gi grapplers in the world. It always amazes me, how much knowledge Gordon has, despite being only 25 years old. And the entries into Submissions from Kazushis are things of beauty!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Concepts, follow ups, tactics and more!!
Fundamental Armbar Mechanics by Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec
Karl's teaching is top notch. I have been a big fan of his material since I saw him with Frias. I use many of his armbar techniques. His concepts are where he truly shines though. Follow ups and positional retention are big in my game. Oddly enough karl and melanson have a lot of cross over in there philosophy despite there size differences. Good tactics and technical attacks that lead to other attacks. You won't be disappointed by the fox! Thank you very much karl!

The Buchecha Takedown System In The Gi by Marcus "Buchecha" Almeida
This instructional is very well laid out. I really enjoy Buchecha’s takedown system in the gi. I really needed an extra edge when training with guys half my age, and I think I truly found it. I have been wrecking guys on the mats with this instructional. Using just a handful of techniques. Very happy with this product
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Outstanding Instructional! Outstanding!
The Stack Pass by Andre Galvao
I have dozens of videos from bjjfanatics but this is the first one where I’ve been compelled to write a review. This stack pass instructional is outstanding. There’s 4 sections and none are more than 30 minutes long which is perfect. Anything beyond that and my attention wanders to the meaning of life and everything but bjj. You can see why Professor Galvao has such a good team. He’s an excellent instructor. He breaks every technique down from different angles so you see the finite details. My favorite part is when he goes “but professor what if does....”. He knows what you’re thinking like some psychic! I definitely picked up a lot of good details and figured out some of the little things I’ve been doing wrong with my stack pass. Thanks professor for making this instructional! I’ll definitely be buying more from you.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:This set should be named the Bible of Sao Paulo Passing.
The São Paulo Passing System by Leonardo Nogueira
After watching Leo Nogueira's Sao Paulo Passing System once, I was immediately hooked. I simply love this style of pressure passing and have immediately incorporated it into my game. This is a legit game changer. Leo's details on how to deal with the De La Riva, Spider and Lasso guards are extremely helpful. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to implement this style of pressure passing into their game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Most Own Title
Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
This title is an invaluable resource for any individual on the jiu jitsu journey. The knowledge Paul drops comes from years of training with some of the greatest bjj competitors in the common era. The passing is technical yet easy applicable. The prompts and focuses given are easily remembered to execute during training. Everytime I watch this set I feel I learn something new gives me the confidence to execute during training as well as help me fundamentally understand positions better to support with teaching in the way to think and communicate to others. This is a set I could not live without thanks Paul!

Diamond Concept: The Diamond Guard Frame, Shield, Elegant, Pedal by Xande Ribeiro
This was an excellent instructional! The instructor gives clear, concise and technical techniques on guard retention from the open guard. This guard retention program is on of the best videos I’ve seen yet. Thanks Bjj Fanatic’s!

The 50/50 Arm Passing System by Leo Vieira
I really like the options this system of passing gives you. I think it will help me from getting stuck in half guard, etc..
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Cranky, this DVD is bloody good, mate!!!
Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
Paul "El Tecnico" Schreiner is one of the great BBJ instructors in action today and this definitely comes out in this DVD. I think he's been working under Marcelo Garcia for the better part of a decade, so you know he's legit AF. But Paul's instructional is not just a slavish regurgitation of Marcelo's grappling genius. Rather he teaches "his" game, in this case for passing the guard. But "his" game is not just for him. Indeed, this is grappling for all. It is a truly scalable instructional; meaning that every grappler from white belt to black belt will benefit from the techniques. Lower level belts will learn some fundamentals that will stay with them throughout their BJJ journey and black and brown belts will have their eyes opened to details that will improve their guard passes. Paul's genius (and I do not use that term lightly) lies in his attention to detail. I'm a bit of troglodyte grappler but whenever I studied one of his instructional or have had the honor to take a class from him I learn important points about the proper hand placement of a grip or where my feet should be placed as I bridge. His mind for details is astounding but what is even more impressive if his ability to communicate this knowledge to knuckleheads like myself. Specific to this DVD is the concept of "connected reaction", the idea that you have to execute moves that are chain to your partner's movement. You must keep connected and move accordingly. I guess this is a form of situational awareness but he puts it into the context of guard passing and the end result is extremely useful.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Paul is a top-tier instructor
Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
Paul Schreiner is up there with all the best instructors on the planet. If you like Lachlan Giles, John Danaher, and Dave Camarillo, you will like Paul. It's as simple as that. I take both group and 1-on-1 classes with Paul Schreiner, and other students of his and I have agreed: even so we've still found Paul's DVDs to be valuable assets!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Dutch Kickboxing for the win
Creating KO's by Melvin Manhoef
When I first started coaching I told people my MMA striking is based mostly on Dutch Kickboxing, though it was idealist. Melvin Manhoef was one of the monsters who created the sentiment. This isn’t just “punch hard” or get jacked, it’s articulate and comes with some humility from a scary man (in the ring/cage). There are great explanations of counters and why we use what when. Melvin also touches on some bad ideas as a striker, which is important. If footwork is your thing and you train strictly Muay Thai for MMA competition, learn the way of the Dutch K1 style. It’s loose and translates better I believe.
Awesome breakdown
Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
Paul is incredible at breaking down the passing systems and how they can work for all styles. It’s fantastic and well explained for all levels and able to put into practice immediately. Highly recommend!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Paul is a legend
Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
Paul is an absolute wealth of knowledge. His deep grasp of how/why positions work is easily understood because of his teaching style. Easy to understand and clearly put, Paul breaks down every concept and position in a way that I can easily add the positions to my training and competition right away. Highly recommend to anyone involved in grappling to pick apart any information from Paul that they can get their hands on (especially his passing!!).

Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
The Paul’s analytical gifts has allowed him to reach an unsurpassed fundamental understanding of the mechanics of jiujitsu and given him the ability to pass this knowledge on in a detailed and comprehensive manner. His teaching will have an immediate and direct impact on your own game and expand your understanding of jiujitsu and martial arts in general. Could not recommend more.

Exit The System by Garry Tonon
I am a white belt and currently **** at escapes. Part of it is because my instructor has yet to teach me. The other part is because I haven't done my part to research what I got submitted to and how to escape it. I got this instructional for that exact reason. This video instructional it's amazing. So far I've managed to escape a few submissions with the knowledge there in.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great for submission grappling
The Complete Over-Under System by Zack Esposito
This video really fills and important area that was lacking in grappling instructional. I believe it will be really valuable for coaches and fighters in Mma and rulesets like ADCC. Zack is an excellent instructor and the selection of techniques flows well. Zack was also one of the best at these skills in the world while he was competing. He has spent the past many years refining how to teach these skills as his full time job/passion. I’m looking forward to using this video to learn for years to come.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:All in the title....
Connected Reaction: No Gi Passing by Paul Schreiner
....."Connected Reaction" as Paul is about as educated on guard passing in NoGi as anyone outside of my purview. Phenomenal and thorough without being boring or pretentious this is like taking 4 private lessons from the Mr. Schreiner. Highly recommended for purple and up and a great motivator for lower belts I'd imagine.
