Half Domination by Tom DeBlass
This is the first video set that I’ve purchased. Prior to this I relied upon YouTube to supplement my normal training. Wow! What a difference for this set. The level of detail and variations on the theme eclipses anything I’ve found for free. Tom’s instruction is fantastic.

Submission Escapes by Tom DeBlass
I took this one when Tom gave away one of his DVDS and it was a wise decision because as you advance better guys sometimes throw attacks faster and sometimes when you are tired a good defense can help you to survive and get on top again.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Awesome

Knife Defense For The Street by Burton Richardson
I loved this video, no matter how many years you have trained I believe knife defense is something most styles taught in a unrealistic way and Burton shows real examples of fights go . I knew some good techniques from Krav Maga but after the grips review I found out baseball grip is probably the best option. I have many DVDs from this site but seriously, leave your ego somewhere else and learn from this one because even a kid with a big knife can **** you, no matter which belt you are.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Amazing stories and knowledge
Muay Thai Fundamentals by Rafael Cordeiro
I did Muay Thai for over a year a long time ago with a brazilian instructor and as this art is not popular where I live ,and I do more BJJ and Judo , I was looking for a nice set to keep my knowledge fresh and it has a very good structure from someone that really enjoys teaching and has trained very good fighters. The mindset he has is very good too and something many coaches do not have in my country, is not exactly in the list of techniques but pay atention to his words. This man is wise.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Effective Hand fighting

Everyday Porrada Spider Guard by Romulo Barral
I started BJJ in 2008 and stopped for many years so I have been trying to get back well and I Spider Guard is one of the things that have been since those days and before so I happy to see how well structured is this DVD , also in the first 2 volumes there are very good basic details nobody taught me 12 years ago and that work very well for older grapplers too as many people think Spider is just for young flexible guys and avoid it .
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2: :100: agree.Excellent! No fluff nor puff!
Battle Tested Down Under Leglocks by Craig Jones
Mr. Jones gets straight to the point. He addresses the what you need. Two thumbs up on this set.
One of the best options for older grapplers that love half guard.
The No Gi Half Guard by Bernardo Faria
I love doing grappling (don´t like to call it NO Gi haha) and I have doing this kind of half guard with some succes but I got this DVD when Bernardo gave away one of his DVDS and really loved it because without the gi some guys are hard to keep with and honestly some of the new guards are not something I like very much. Most of this work can be done with the Gi also. Thank you Bernardo !
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Nice details
50/50 Guard by Kristian Woodmansee
I bought this dvd to complete my game and he shows some really nice details. With them it's much easier to have the control in a 50/50 fight. Thx
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great system, lots of black and white details
Systematically Attacking the Turtle Position by Gordon Ryan
What I love most about Gordon’s system is that he tells you everything your opponent is going to do to intelligently defend and then gives you all the options to counter them. He literally just gives you the blueprint with all the fat trimmed off. Implement it like the gospel and start winning.

The Darce Killer by Malachy Friedman
This video clocks in at a little over an hour and it is filled with techniques. It even throws in advice for stopping guillotines and anacondas. It is defenses and techniques that you will rarely see in other videos and will really up your defenses. Knowing these defense will also help your darce game out by knowing what to expect as well. Very clear instruction and a great addition to any BJJ library. I plan on purchasing Sensei Friedman's other videos as well.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Jeff is an incredibly clear, concise teacher.
The No Gi Deep Half Guard 2.0 by Jeff Glover
Lucky enough to have attended several seminars with Jeff at Bay Jiu Jitsu in SF. I never really got much out of most seminars, but Jeff did something different: He often focused on one position with easy ways to get there and a few simple moves from the position. This dvd is no different. It's not 48 moves from 12 different positions. It's clear, concise, and clever. It's something you can watch and put into practice pretty quickly. I think Jeff is an incredible teacher and competitor which is rare in this sport. Buy this if you want to improve your deep half. No hesitation.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Good set of escapes.
Escapes from Everywhere by Bernardo Faria
The escapes were good and a bit different than I know at the moment. I liked it, especially in combination with pressure passing.
