Passing From Scratch
The Fastest Way: To Become an Effective Guard Passer (No Gi) by John Danaher
Nice instructional for those who wanted an updated Danaher's passing system for almost every possible passing scenario.
Good
The Triangle Machine by Craig Jones
short but good
Game changer
The Roger Gracie Closed Guard System by Roger Gracie
I really liked the structure of the dvd with chokes, sub and sweeps. In the lapel part of the dvd, Roger Gracie show a way to get the opponent to let go of the gi, tried it in training and it worked wonders. I also like how Uke interacts, playfully challenging Roger’s techniques and having him showcase their efficiences. So great structure, great techniques and explanations. This dvd helped me broaden my game and add efficiency and clearness too it too!
solid techniques
High Tech BJJ In The Gi by Tom DeBlass
a text that shows solid and effective techniques
easy and simple
FREE Mini-Course: Over / Under Pressure Passing System by Bernardo Faria
I like the Over-Under Pass. It allows me to avoid leg attacks like the De La Riva or X-Guard, and I can concentrate my body weight on my opponent's hips. I don't need fast movements. I only need to put my entire body perfectly onto one of my opponent's legs. It's simple.
Fascinating
Master The Move: The American Lock by John Danaher
Danaher's approach here was so helpful: take a move that doesn't get a lot of shine in high level competition, but then mine the move to dig all you can out of it.
Masterclass
The Guard Passing Anthology: Half Guard by Lachlan Giles
I guess it's like most of Giles' instructionals. There's so much information, it's a lot to process (by design - his anthologies are supposed to be more like a reference work: pull it off the shelf and look up what you need). But his explanations are incredibly helpful, and as always, the narrated roles offer such a helpful model.
Solo Drills
Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills by John Danaher
Instructive and helpful to move your body effortless
Very useful
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Simple yet effective techniques to work your way out of common uncomfortable positions, it gave me confidence to know that eventually you can escape and keep the match going.
Excellent series. Well taught
Under Pressure: Half Butterfly Mastery by Brian Glick
Professor Glick is an excellent teacher and conveys complex ideas in easy-to-understand ways. Really impressed with this one. It's helpful to see a slower, smaller, less athletic guy review guard concepts.

Jiu Jitsu University-Saulo Ribeiro
Jiu Jitsu University by Saulo Ribeiro
I learned under Sensei Saulo so the material is familiar to me but the series is detailed and reflects the evolution of the positions in real time. The series helps to fine tune and further enhance positions. The fine details are what makes or breaks ones Jiu Jitsu. Sensei Saulo can break a game down better than anyone so it doesn't matter what level you are, this series is made to enhance your game and understanding of Jiu Jitsu.

Great
How to Defend Against Everyone by Chris Paines
A very good and concise overview of general defence principles instead of specific techniques. I would say the biggest benefit to me as a new white belt is that I can survive for a little longer and rest a bit while rolling, slowing down the roll so that I can pay attention to what is going on. Most of the content can be found on various seminars on YouTube, but here it is presented as a more cohesive whole.
