New Fave!
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Nasty Control & Sneaky Submissions by Bernardo Faria
So much great stuff in here. I feel like Bernardo gets me - I'm tired of being the nice old guy at the gym and I'm tired of chasing younger opponents around, giving them a break with presh. This is awesome.
Nice sequences!
Advanced Half Guard: Tilt Sweep by Brandon Quick
Brandon shows some very nice sequences coming from the Tilt sweep or what I have always called the John Wayne sweep. This is one of my favorite positions to play from and he has got me thinking outside the box with some of his follow ups to when they post their arm etc. Also really like the Mantis guard concepts. Brandon visited my dojo and showed me a lot of cool details on this position, so I had to check out the video afterwards. Good stuff on here!
Solo and partner grappling drills
Solo And Partner Grappling Drills For Rapid Improvement by Tom DeBlass
This has been awesome, as with my other Bjj fanatics purchases. They help me so much and allow me to add the depth I want to my BJJ practice. Seriously. I use the instructional all the time ans spend alot of time on the fanatics yout tube channel. 🤙🙏
Perfect for half guard players
Under Pressure: Half Butterfly Mastery by Brian Glick
As usual Brian's instructionals are well laid out and very clear and easy to follow just like his clamp video. I have recently started implementing some half butterfly into my (mostly) half guard game.
Effective techniques from z-guard
Alex lays out his G-roll techniques very clearly. If I lock in the z-guard the push up sweep works almost every time and partners are surprised. Can't wait to try some of the other techniques in the instructional.
Unique top game tactics
Craigs instructionals always give another perspective on how to approach things in BJJ and this instructional contains many techniques that are easy to implement and also effective.
awesome stuff
Middle Aged BJJ by Tom DeBlass
Didn't want to admit that I'm not able to fight to the death every time I roll and no hurt like **** the next day, But 45 isn't the same as 25. Lots of useful stuff to make life easier as an older player. Great stuff.
