Down Right Sloppy Half Butterfly by Eoghan O'Flanagan
This course was exactly what I needed. It pairs well with my collar sleeve in gi and adds the layer between knee shield and slx.
Reverse armlock hagi
It is a great comprehensive video.
Great Nuances
Side Control Savagery by Kyle Sleeman
The video really drills down the small nuances needed to fix positional BJJ and shore up control. Sleeman goes step by step, then shows the flow of the side control position which has translated to better BJJ. Highly recommend!

K Guard and Matrix System: Attacking The Legs From The Knees Part 1 by Mikey Musumeci
A sharp, modern look at K guard and matrix back takes from Mikey Musumeci. The system feels cohesive and attack-focused, with clear setups, off-balances, and smooth transitions to the back. Great if you like technical, detail-heavy open guard that actually connects into finishes.

The Guard Retention Anthology: Through The Legs and Close Range by Lachlan Giles & Ariel Tabak
Super detailed and systematic guard retention course. Lachlan Giles and Ariel Tabak break down defenses to common passes (knee cuts, smash, half guard) with clear concepts and live rolling examples. Feels like a complete, practical gameplan rather than just a collection of techniques.

The Real Judo Chop And Other Favorites by Kayla Harrison
This was my first DVD. Harrison Sensei did a wonderful job building from the judo chop. If you're brand new to standup, give the judo chop a try. It's an easy entry into groundwork. If anything, it makes for a good class to demonstrate an example of standing to ground.

Great pass
Fast Track BJJ: Jiu-Jitsu for Old Guys Pressure Passing System by Bernardo Faria
This Over-Under Pass instructional completely changed how I pass the guard. I used to struggle against different guards, but after studying this, I can now pass anyone's guard — from any position — using the over-under pass. It's simple, powerful, and works perfectly. If you want a reliable, high-percentage way to pass the guard, this is the one. Highly recommended!

Pleasantly surprised
Utilizing Underhooks & Overhooks From Closed Guard by Mason Fowler
i was pleasantly surprised to find out that this training is more of a rubber guard dvd than anything. a little more than half of the instructional is rubber guard when it covers the overhooks section. which is fine because i was wondering how he attacks his rubber guard game.
Best detailed instructional bundle on open guard
The No Gi Open Guard Bundle by Lachlan Giles
Open guard is such an expensive topic. IMHO as a beginner, the Instructional does a phenomenal job distilling it into a logical step wise curriculum to supplement your training. I find that It’s well organized and provides effective and pertinent suggestions. I’m a light heavyweight, more comfortable with top game, and was hopeless at open guard before finding this instructional. I’ve been using it as a framework to guide in-class drilling during open mat for the past six months. Recently, my coaches have been complementing me on the significant improvements already in my open guard game. It also feels much more fun now. Highly recommend!
Great info!
