Guard Retention: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Sooo much food for your thoughts. It will require a lot of time and patience to go through it, but the general theory part it's worth every second and penny. Game changer.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Devils in the details. Great suppliment to his triangle book.
The Science of Filthy Triangles by Neil Melanson
This one is one his best instructionals. Covers slot of details on finishing triangles with of lots of check points so you can recognize what to do when. I've hurt my ankles and broke both my pinky toes squeezing like **** when the guy just isn't tapping. if I saw this before, I would have made the right adjustments and finished easily.

No Gi Takedowns Made Easy by Rick Hawn
If you like instructionals that get right to the point, this is a great one with many takedowns taught. A little background and experience is helpful, like knowing the importance of Kuzushi in setups. As I’ve progressed in my grappling skills, I’ve come back to study and I learn more details each time I do this. It’s a great reference to have!

Leg Lock Defense: Survive And Escape by Giancarlo Bodoni
This has been a very helpful video for me. It has so many details and since I'm not a highly experienced belt that's such a good thing. I digest it a little bit at a time, with whatever leg attack problem I'm having at the moment.

Exit The System by Garry Tonon
Like the title of the review says the best submission escape instructional ive watched, does an amazing job explaining simply the key concepts needed to understand how to not only get out of a submission but go on your own attack immediately highly recommend for all levels and belts
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:The devil is in the details
Kimura Hunting by Kazushi Sakuraba
Lots of new tricks for your arsenal. The translation is smooth and doesn't impact the understanding of the sequences. The masterclass' flow is amusing, although I would have personally enjoyed some more structure. I would 100% recommend this video though: the price is fair and Saku's details will greatly improve your techniques!

Understanding The Distance From Guard by Gui Mendes
It’s instructional has its value and use butter someone who’s been training for a while, I feel like it’s lacking crucial details. I would recommend it for blue belts and under but if you have been doing jiu-jitsu consistently for a couple years, you shouldn’t expect to learn anything new.

Ageless Jiu Jitsu: Winning When You're Older or Less Athletic - Top Game No Gi by John Danaher
I like that JD scaled it down to a very practical course. I recommend people to also have the bottom - that gives you a broader perspective. You can really instantly take the things he teaches to the mat. Im 56 yo whitebelt and I'm keeping up with 20ish yo white belts bigger than me quite effortlessly. after 4 rounds they r exhausted. i have a high pulse but energy left... really great. Also you younger. Do this as a preparation for age. Good overall principles that can be used at any age.
