Chains based off of reactions. I really liked the sit up guard segment.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Most Comprehensive Bolo System
No Gi Berimbolo System Part 1 by Mikey Musumeci
This is the most detailed instructional I've seen on the bolo system. It's difficult to find instructionals that include as many of the sub systems (crab, crab x, leg drag, etc) as Mikey does here. The only thing missing is entries into the bolo as Mikey only discusses the classic de la riva entry. Sincerely hope there is a part 2 coming.
Guard retention
Guard Retention: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Always helpful in building a strong fundamental knowledge base. Danaher is a fantastic teacher and breaks things down in a simple way.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:A must have for half guard player
Hippo Half Guard by Michael Zenga
Highly recommend it to all my fellow half guard player. Sensei Zenga fixes all the holes when playing the half guard. Not only the techniques but also some wisdom on drilling and rolling he learnt from the big name like Giancarlo and Mikey. This instructional is a great preference for my half guard game.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great insight into single leg setups
World Championship Single Leg Setups by Kyle Dake
I lean towards single leg as my favored takedown and am trying to learn as much as I can about setups. There is discussion on footwork and hand fighting that I had not seen elsewhere. I appreciate his perspective since he is closer in size to me than other instructors I’ve seen
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Golden freebie
High Percentage Gi Passes by Gordon Ryan
Gordon teaches well. I enjoyed the integration of passing styles to the lapel passing. It’ll be interesting to see if he implements on the comp mats.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Awesome. I have Danaher's half
Half Guard Domination 2.0 by Tom DeBlass
Awesome. I have Danaher's half guard series and love it, but it's nice to get different explanations from other reputable instructors. Also like supporting Tom because of all the anti-bullying stuff he does on social media.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Exploring The Empty Half Guard
Exploring The Empty Half Guard by Daniel Paul Pollaccia
Professor D. D. P. offers a system which will be kind of a back up system in my game. I like the positions and techniques because most the given ones are working back and forth with very little adjustments. Some of my favourite grips and submissions are right there too.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Conceptual Defense
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: A New Philosophy Of Submissions Escapes by John Danaher
Another classic John Danaher instructional. He gives a good conceptual over view of defending various submission attacks. Does he give you every possible escape? No but he gives you the tools to discover and create your own escapes in real time.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Fantastic resource

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Best Conceptual Torreando Instructional on BJJ Fanatics!
Footwork Passing vs The Supine Guard by Isaac Doederlein
This was a fantastic course. I gotta say when I saw the trailer I thought it was cool the passes being displayed here. Watching some drills you can find on the internet for warmups like torreando, leg drags etc I wasted no time in buying Isaac's course as I believed he could teach the concepts here very well. I watched volume 1 many times just to get the hang of the other techniques he was teaching and that's the most important part as you let everything else flow naturally when you train. I used this course as preparation for my tournament recently and I was able to achieve more guard passes than I normally would. I cannot wait to watch the footwork passing vs seated guard next. Thank you Isaac for sharing this knowledge!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Yeah this works.
First Principles Escapes: Mount and Knee Ride by Stephen Whittier
I’m a big fan of BJJ Fanatics videos by Danaher and Lachlan Giles. I’ve been mostly watching those two since I started Juijuitsu. I heard Mr Whittier on a BJJ podcast and was intrigued by his different approach to learning based on first principles. I watched the whole thing straight thru and it made a difference in my game that night in training. I’ve barely scratched the surface but the slight shift in conceptual outlook and remembering a few highly relevant details instead of trying to recall a specific technique in various situations discussed here seems to make techniques emerge without my consciously recalling them. Which oddly seems both faster and easier. It’s tough to explain but I hope this helps anyone considering buying this. In my opinion the value here is exponentially greater than the cost.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Amazing

Leglocks: Enter The System by John Danaher
Overall this is a great conceptual introduction to leglocks. There are some positions that are clearly missing such backside leglock positions as well as the whole z-lock system. Would be great to get an updated version.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Good Manual for Closed Guard
Next Generation Closed Guard by Mica Galvao
The volume of closed guard is good, but most of the material can be found on other volumes covering the same topic. That prevents this from being amazing however, Micael covers some details here and there not found in other instructionals
