Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Pure gold for those who want to integrate wrestling into their game
Basic Wrestling Concepts For Jiu-Jitsu Athletes by Fred Leavy
I think it's the best wrestling for bjj/grappling beginner's instructional here and I have a bunch of them. The majority (probably with exception of Danaher's) just touches on the topics of stance, motion and goes right to the techniques some of which are almost non-starters for newbie grapplers like blast doubles etc. Here you have the most basic concepts and techniques for defence and offence that work and are easy to grasp. You get a nice and realistic system to work on in the first months or even years of wrestling training whithout being overwhelmed. And it will be a good base to work towards more complicated stand-up stuff when one will feel ready for it.
