Fundamentals of a Jiu Jitsu Renegade by Kurt Osiander
This set is loaded with great, simple and innovative techniques that don't require extensive flexibility or explosiveness. I've attended two seminars taught by Kurt and this DVD replicates that experience. His knowledge, desire for his students to learn, warmth and humility really come through here. I highly recommend both the DVD and his seminars.
Danaher rocks

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:The Evolution of Jiu Jitsu
Because Craig is on the front lines competing at a high-level and teaching, his perspective on the evolution of no-gi grappling is amazing. Getting up during engagements where your opponent thinks you are obeying this mutual unspoken rule of roles of bottom and top player is a great concept that changes the roll/spar. Wrestlers and MMA fighters understand this but now there is a deep dive on this topic by an elite JJ athlete. He also touched on a topic that's important which is being safe even with back exposure (so you are not smashed, wrestlers are familiar with this). If you're looking for something to implement literally same day purchase this instructional. Cheers

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:GR teaches his gaurd piercing system very well
Systematically Attacking The Guard by Gordon Ryan
This video is very useful, I would say it is more geared towards advanced BJJ practitioners because it shows some fairly complex and esoteric concepts about JJ. However I purchased it as a first year student and have rewatched it many times and used it to become accustomed to higher level BJJ. Awesome video.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Go Further Faster-Closed Guard
Closed Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Danaher shows all the overarching concepts of closed guard from controlling posture, getting angle and how to attack either from submissions, sweeps, or advantageous positions. The best thing is that he breaks it down by how your opponent is posturing in your guard: two knees, one knee, standing bent over and standing straight up. From there Danaher discusses all of the micro-adjustments in the closed guard with top-lock, side scissor, and my favorite the clamp. I urge everyone to buy John's instructionals so that your knowledge base is more extensive than your opponents.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Love it
Off With Their Head: The Arm Triangle by Neil Melanson
This is the 3rd instructional of Neil's I've purchased. Easy to understand, clear and concise. Camera angles are great. His techniques and tidbits have upped my ability to initiate and finish the move, and I love the other options he provides. His sense of humor is also hilarious.

Simplified Strength Training Templates For BJJ by Alex Sterner & Alex Bryce
Very well structured and explained. The coaches demonstrate the exercises one by one well enough, and create a very complete routine. Covering the main movement patterns with enough exercises per pattern, the routine is comprehensive enough for the demands of any athlete. Great job

Jiu Jitsu for Old Guys: Over / Under Pressure Passing System by Bernardo Faria
As always, Bernardo is outstanding with his instruction and detail. I have been using over/under passing for quite some time now but there are certain scenarios that are much more difficlut to work with than others (i.e. Knee Shield, Lasso) and Bernardo addresses several of these scenarios! Highly recommend this instruction!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Positional Escapes by Bernardo Faria
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Positional Escapes by Bernardo Faria
Fantastic! As a 40 year old who has noticed his athleticism decreasing, these techniques fit me perfectly. The subtle differences from the positional escapes I have already learned seem to make a significant difference for someone who is no longer interested in 5 minute scramble dominated contests with 22 year olds. The thematic transitions to half guard and especially deep half guard have greatly changed how I roll. I find deep half guard significantly more effective in my rolls against younger opponents, and I can shape the contest away from my weakness in conditioning and towards my advantage in strength with these techniques.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Useful Half Guard blueprint
Open Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
