Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
John Danaher does a great job going into great detail and explaining the science behind why his systematic approach works. I learned a lot of great fundamental concepts that I use every time I roll. It's always a huge compliment having some tough upper belts say you're hard to keep still. I have multiple John Danaher instructionals and always learn a lot.

The Ultimate Rubber Guard by Eddie Bravo
Rubber guard is truly awesome if one masters it. Eddie Bravo's style of instruction is a bit unorthodox as compared to most other instructionals. It is fun and entertaining, and I really liked the informational or non-technique related material. Because his instruction feels a bit disjointed initially, you get an "aha" moment towards the end and gain a better understanding on how it all works together. His teaching style isn't bad, it's just different, so you may or may not like it if you are used to the traditional instructional. I prefer the style of a traditional instructional, but Eddie does a decent job in putting all the pieces together. Eddie's style of teaching may actually be of greater benefit as the video can be viewed more like a long episode or a movie leading to a pieced together conclusion as opposed to linear stop and go techniques and concepts. Overall, if you think the rubber guard can benefit your game, there's no one better to learn it from than the master.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Teddy Atlas in his entertaining
Intelligence: The Art of Counter Punching by Teddy Atlas
Teddy Atlas in his entertaining way focuses on skills in boxing that are sadly neglected in many gyms. The devil is in the detail which is where Teddy excels. MMA fighters will need to make some adjustments but the basics still apply.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great!

I use the tips for maintaining mount all the time.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:John Danaher's Back Attack System
Back Attacks Enter The System by John Danaher
The two videos in the series I bout were this and the Triangle System. The material Proffessor Danaher provides on strangles is far more valuable to me than his deservedly popular leg locks. His details on trapping arms for RNS, and even cooler, the Auxilary systems, the principles of Alignment, and the option of Back Crucifix when alignment is broken. No wonder this system is the number one finisher in EBI overtime.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:wink::hugging:Systematic
Systematically attacking From Top Pins: Side Control & North South by Gordon Ryan
What makes the difference here is a) clarity of thought b) clear heuristics that you can use under pressure and c) good quality instruction. Too many instructionals give techniques without clear understanding of when you would use each part and how it should fit together.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Excellent instructional
Wrestling For BJJ by Jeff Glover
Excellent instructional
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Worth every penny.
Guard Retention: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher

Off With Their Head: The Arm Triangle by Neil Melanson

Half Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
A nice introduction on how to make half guard more effective against difficult opponents,
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Interesting but not in any great depth
Gripping Workshop: The Ultimate Study by Neil Adams
These videos are priced at a point that makes them very hard to recommend. Although Neil Adams is an absolute authority on judo, the videos lack detail and readily implementable systems. There were some interesting points regarding bear hugs and the Korean grip, but these weren't explored at length.

Getting Swole As A Grappler by Gordon Ryan
If you have an understanding of nutrition and working out there isn’t a lot you will get from this. I didn’t like that his sponsors had a part in the series. It seemed more like a beginners guide. But I could see this helping someone just getting started.
Highly recommended
