Power Ride: A New Philosophy on Pinning by Craig Jones
This series takes a lot of things I’m familiar with from Folkstyle Wrestling and helps me apply them in a BJJ context. I was able to apply some of the ideas immediately. I would’ve like to see more specific examples of entries into this system. The conceptual focus of the videos is probably more useful for more experienced grapplers than me, but if I keep working I’ll be able to connect the dots.

Great Instructional!
The Pillars Of Defense: Leg Lock Escapes and Counter Locks by Gordon Ryan
This is a very thorough instructional. The length might seem intimidating, but a lot of the material is repeated so that you can use this as a reference rather than a front-to-back learning experience. For example, if you want to start with escapes from cross ashi, you can go straight to chapter 6 - you don't need to start with chapter 1 and go through because he repeats any necessary info along the way. This makes it seem a little repetitive if you watch front-to-back, but overall I'm glad he structured it this way in case I ever need to come back and review a section later.
