The Roger Gracie Mount System by Roger Gracie
So I've been building up a lot of moves over the decade. I was always looking for the latest tools and new trends. It wasn't til I had an epiphany that sometimes the best tools are actually the basic fundamentals. Respectfully Roger Gracie is the best at the basics at the highest level. As a smaller guy my mount ******, but I know Roger has the best mount and closed guard in the business. I recently bought this tutorial and got to finally apply it in my roll where I was facing an explosive practitioner, and a bigger taller practitioner who out weighed me by 15kg. The micro adjustments of body position and the stages that Roger went through all worked so well when I got to move from low mount, high mount and finally submission. Mount for me was something I'd rely on instincts for so long without knowing proper mount control, and would often be bridged off by bigger guys. But having Roger explain the details of control gave me more confident and understanding how to control my opponent and the stages to build up a submission. The GOAT
