The Heisen Guard by Malachy Friedman
i'm a 60-year-old white belt started a year ago. I've been going three times a week and haven't missed. I needed something to give me an edge against these young guys. I think this is going to do it. Thank you so much.
Fantastic Overview
Killer Cradles: Terminal Takedowns by Wade Schalles
Wade is absolutley incredible as an instructor. He breaks down high level concepts and delivers them to you in a way that anyone who trains can understand. I often revisit this instructional when I feel like something isn't going well with my stand up and 9/10 the answer is actually in this instructional. Very glad to have this video on this platform. It also gave me a much deeper respect for people who primarily wrestle.

Transformed my Triangle Game
Invisible Triangle concepts by Braulio Estima
Much of the content covered goes very deep and isn't seen in my school. This has helped my triangle game immensely
B Team Bottom Game AKA Power Bottom
A different way to play guard that most training partners don't know how to deal with. Learn to wrestle up from all three different ranges and watch how your sweeps and leg entries open up because your training partners have a whole new dimension of the game to worry about.
Front Headlock Escapes
Mexican Ground Karate Escapes Volume 1: Front Headlock Escapes by Craig Jones
Great instructional to make sure you understand the pros and cons of the different kinds of guillotines and how to defend them. I got this so that I would be more confident shooting double legs and now I'm usually happy when someone goes for the choke because they're not defending the takedown.
Z Guard
Make Z Guard Great Again by Craig Jones
There is a ton of good information in this instructional. Right away my ability to maintain a knee shield and Z guard improved and I have a game plan from the position now. There are a ton of submission options shown that I'm sure I will be revisiting again and again.
genius
The Science of Guard Passing by Lucas Lepri
Passing god
Excellent
Rock Solid BJJ Foundation by Casey Milliken
Great videos on the fundamentals. There were many small details that were given that I was able to implement immediately on the mat. Particularly, the knee on the belly escape was something I had never seen done in that way and has helped prevent many armbar attacks on me at the lower levels. Additonally, the "maintaining the back" and "maintaining the mount" were incredibly useful (I still need to practice them more as I do not end up in thes positions as often unless I am positional sparring), but the videos have really given some depth to my understanding of setting up attacks from optimal position. There are only about 4 submissions in this series, however don't let the number fool you. The quality of the content in this video series is substantial, the videos have high replay-ability, and much needed for white belts, potentially even blue belt if they skim over their fundamentals and skip straight into lockdown, deep half, and the electric chair. The submissions contained here are ones that are staples to everyone's game, especially in the gi. Highly recommend this video, especially to anyone looking to establish better fundamentals and make the needed adjustments.
