In this video Marcelo gives you a vast number of options for sweeps and some attacks from Butterfly Guard. Absolutely Essential for Beginners
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Professor Danaher takes you through all the essential escapes to the main pins of Jiu Jitsu and does so in incredible detail. This is one of those series that you will return to countless times and keep learning from. Invest time in this and there won't be a training partner out there who can keep you pinned. The Turtle sections are also phenomenal. As a position that isn't often trained, it'll give you the confidence to use it more often, which works well when you move on to the GFF Guard Retention series.
Excellent Instructional Video
Ageless Jiu Jitsu: Winning When You're Older and Less Athletic - Bottom game: Gi by John Danaher
The title of this Video says it all. I recently got back into Jiu-jitsu after a couple years and this video really helped. I had a quick look through the contents and the next day I was able to apply some of the techniques which really helped me to roll a bit more confidently against larger and more athletic opponents.
An awesome tutorial
Half Guard Passing and Dynamic Pins: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
An awesome tutorial. I am an old guy , not very strong an not flexible at all. Fancy passes are not for me , so that i prefer pressure passing. Learning how to pass my opponents, in top half guard, with method, in a so technical way, was an absolute game changer for me. John Danaher is so methodical. I watched it and watched it again and learn new details each time.
