One of My Favorite Instructionals !
Half Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I was never a big half guard player. I'd only use it for guard retention. I really started trying to play half guard as a main guard after studying the material here - and got it to work ! I continued learning with Gordon's video (butterfly half and more knee shield) and New Wave (interplay of leg locks from half guard), but this video really got me started enjoying the half guard position.

Habits For Highly Effective Jiu-Jitsu by Garry Tonon
I have many instructionals between gordon ryan, john danaher, and lachlan giles, but this one is perfect. The concepts you take from this instructional apply to everything you learn moving forward and not just learning specific techniques. Highly recommend getting this instructional and already can apply it to my training sessions.

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I thought I had a pretty good understanding of escapes..... Was pretty decent at getting out of bad positions. I really re-learned the fundamentals here - at a much higher level than I had learned them many years ago. Changed the way I looked at standard moves I thought I knew well such as the bridge (single shoulder bridge I should say) and elbow escape.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great Video
Kimura: Enter The System by John Danaher
Changed the whole way I play kimuras. Some of my favorite concepts were power line, bringing the elbow to the shoulder line, focus on pulling to finish, hand behind the back and the variety of different kimuras. Another great video from Danaher.

Lapel Chokes From Everywhere by Miko Hytonen
Lots of attacks from various positions. Miko does each move slowly and repeatedly, explaining each step as he progresses. Excellent video and great positive energy on this video. I've already put several of the attacks into use at the gym, much to the chagrin of my partners. I've learned a lot from this instructional!

Prof Crane speaks in a friendly and clear manner. Video covers more than Omoplata. A good one to learn about ankle locks and knee bars from 50/0 positions.
