Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Very happy with this purchase!
The Scarf Hold The Soul Stealer by Henry Akins
Last year, one of my instructors noted that I landed in the scarf hold position often when I spared. He offered a couple of submissions I could use from the position. As a result I began submitting people with much more regularity. When I saw a scarf hold instructional being offered I was intrigued. Growing my skills and developing some mastery on a go-to hold was something I really wanted. After contemplating the purchase for a few days I finally took the plunge. So happy I did! My understanding of this hold has increased dramatically. I can't wait to start applying it. I had never heard of Henry Akins before, but I love his teaching style. This video is well worth the price.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Perfect for having a complete half guard game
The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
I was looking for a way to make half guard a strength in my game and over the past few years Lachlan Giles has become one of my favorite grapplers to watch. Even before 2019 ADCC, he was often matched up against opponents who were much larger and stronger and he just wins. Even though we all know strength does matter, if a small guy regularly succeeds against larger guys, that says his game is very effective, and since all we have right now is time, I have made this my #1 priority. I have several of Lachlan’s instructionals and I can say that each of them is easy to follow and learn from. He’s very detailed and he gives you a complete system, starting with primary attacks from the position and then how to respond to common counters and troubleshoot specific issue that come up. You can study it and drill it all the way through, or you can look up solutions to problems as they come up. This is a fantastic instructional that merges really well with the leg lock games in modern jiu jitsu. I will definitely be recommending this to anyone struggling with half guard.
Response from BJJ FanaticsThanks a lot! :hugging:A Must-Have for Butterfly Guard

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Henry’s Scarf hold
The Scarf Hold The Soul Stealer by Henry Akins
I have all Henry’s courses and every one of them is pure magic. His attention to details makes his Jiu Jitsu effortless. I’ve done several private lessons with Henry, I have felt his pressure with the scarf hold, and it’s on another level. I highly highly recommend the scarf hold/soul stealer course. Carl

I've just started my journey through Professor Faria's Transition Mastery and am really enjoying the connection between stand up, sweep, pass, and ultimately submission to create an offensive game plan. Really well put together in way that builds of each step to the next.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:My 3-year old and I love this instructional
Train With Your Kids by Joel Bouhey
I bought this after seeing some videos Joel had posted on Facebook about training with your kids. I have started working some things with my 3 year old son and he is having a blast! His attention span is short and it doesn't take long before he wants to do something else but I can already tell he has learned a lot from it. Joel gives you several games to play so you can transition from one to another to keep them interested. It's really crazy how quickly children can pick things up, it didn't take long of playing the Cobra game before my son realized that he has to control my arm by grabbing it high up near the wrist rather than low near the elbow. Eventually, on his own, he realized if he got is legs involved and extended, he could really lock my arm down tight. It's very interesting to watch them grow and figure things out on their own, and it's lot of fun in the process! TL;DR I highly recommend.

The Catch Wrestling Formula by Neil Melanson
I own pretty much all of Coach Melanson’s DVD’s and this one is a great intro to catch style grappling. In my opinion this dvd is a good start for those interested in learning a more wrestling based system. Coach Melanson is very in depth with every technique and doesn’t leave any stone unturned when it comes to teaching finer points of techniques. It’s my hope Coach Melanson puts out a turtle dvd next!

Takedowns to Back Control by Nick Rodriguez
Great technique and movement breakdowns !
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Clear, logical and applicable
Tarantula Guard by Dominique Bell
Clear, logical and applicable. I've come back to open guard as a purple belt in search of a longer range range system/layer (I play half usually). This variant is really overpowered and the system presented here is very straightforward: an intro, entries, fighting a standing opponent, fighting kneeling opponent, what to do off your back, your left hip and your right hip. Will pick up his SLX course soon. Can we have Dom Bell's passing system next?
