Focused on fundamentals and simplicity, which IMO is the core of being successful in Jiu Jitsu over the long term.
Danaher delivers another highly structured system
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Mounted Pin Attacks - The 4x4 Mount System by John Danaher
Danaher delivers another highly structured system, breaking the mount into four stages: securing underhooks, isolating the arm, establishing four control grips, and finishing with four core submissions. The course is conceptually deep, ideal for practitioners who value logic and positional dominance over flashy techniques. While practical user feedback is scarce, the material is consistent with Danaher’s trademark: systematic, detailed, and aimed at giving you total control from mount.
Breathe To Win
Breathe to Win by Glyn Powditch
I’ve just finished watching Glyn Powditch’s Breathe To Win. Every competitive roll is an energy battle, as well as a technical battle and I think that the concepts explained in this video, will massively improve my ability to manage my energy and be more efficient in my BJJ, through better breathing and connection. Scarf Hold Bottom is the place to test this out, as distressed breathing and failed escape attempts, as a result of poor connection, will lead to being exposed and tapping out, as I have many times. This will change that.

Great Course from a high level coach Henry Akins. It's changed some of my understanding about the game in a great way.
Outstanding
Ageless Jiu Jitsu: Winning When You're Older or Less Athletic - Bottom Game by John Danaher
This instructional is outstanding. I was impressed by the depth of detail, not just on half guard, but also on back defense and submission options. If you’re an older athlete or someone who isn’t the most athletic, this is a must-have resource. Yes, it’s pricey but absolutely worth it, especially if you can grab it on a daily deal (which is how I got mine). I’m glad I did.
