Contains set-ups, attacks, troubleshooting, examples from live roles, and even information about the guards you should play around the k-guard, although positions like de la riva, waiter and 70/30 aren’t covered in extreme detail, there is enough information for you to start using these things to enhance your k-guard game

New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Side Attacks - Building a Devastating Side Control System by John Danaher
For me controlling and advancing from side control has been tough on higher level opponents with good escapes. The details in this series are going to help change that.
Very informative
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Positional Escapes by Bernardo Faria
I like Bernardo, but some of his other instructionals are not very systematic. They are a collection of individual techniques. This one is significantly more systematic, giving you different options on how to respond to threats by your opponent. It feels foundational in building basic skills first, then giving you alternatives should that basic option fail. I am already using some of these in my classes, and I have become more slippery for the higher belts. I can give trouble to blue belts and purple belts, but I move too slow for brown belts and black belts. Still, even those classmates have noted how much harder it is to hold me down. Definitely worth watching and re-watching this series.

Talk, no action
Shin to Shin by Eoghan O'Flanagan
Lots of talking about the moves without demonstrating much. Only for very advanced players, and for those who want to play a wrist deep shin to shin instead of elbow deep. Also, he's pinned a holocaust joke using this video series to his Instagram account. There's a large overlap between people who are good at fighting and people who are miserable human beings. Amazing the way someone can master the nuances of thousands of positions but not the nuances of basic decency.
