High Percentage Gi Passes by Gordon Ryan
Very interesting no gi perspective on gi passing. I mainly train no gi so it’s right up my alley. Gordon and his gf are strangely and fortunately more approachable this time around. Their other vids gave me a weird vibe but they seem pretty relaxed and human on this one.

Great to see someone putting posture at the center of his game. We all love fancy submisisons for extravagant positions, but posture is probably the most important asset to your game. I personally think the explanations were a bit long and could have been more condensed. Anyway, I do agree with the 'frames come with responsibilities' mindset. Probably will be watching more instructionals from Priit, or visit him to have a talk.

Fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu: Introduction To Meregali’s Gi System by Nicholas Meregali
I’m not a fan of the social media side of Meregali but this dvd is just top notch! He is a very very good instructor and he filled in a lot of blanks for me. He’s more into principals of making a move work instead of just showing specific tecniques which is great! He talkes about stuff often missed by other instructors. New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Mounted Pin Attacks - The 4x4 Mount System by John Danaher
This is magic - everything just works. Even though it’s so boring watching Danaher demonstrate the same techniques over and over and say the same thing over and over, as soon as I take it to the mats it works, with zero practice. I still have to refine it, and rewatch to get details I missed, and rewatch again, but it works. I neglected my mount game for a few years while I focused on guard, side control and passing, so to watch a few hours and then immediately start holding pins indefinitely while isolating limbs and getting submissions is just nuts. It’s not me, it’s him. Good god. Buy this.

I went to one of Frank's back attack seminars and purchased the DVD so I could dive a little deeper into his teachings on it. He speaks well, he's concise, and he breaks things down well. 10/10 recommend for the low chair sit system if nothing else.
