If someone is looking for a rock solid submission game, start here.

I love the kimura and kesa chest compression especially. There’s a lot of detail with regards to troubleshooting the techniques. The instructions are clear. There are multiple cameras and angles. The audio is good as well. Everyone I show the kimura to falls in love with it.

Sambo Academy: Combat Sambo by Ivan Vasylchuk
I’ve only watched the first part. It has a lot of decent basics. There should have been a disclaimer though that to complete some of the moves you need another of their instructionals and I’m not entirely convinced after talking to an experienced judoka by the fancy foot work on that middle kick counter. The multiple angles are good though. The audio and instructions and translation are clear. The editing is decent.

Ageless Jiu Jitsu: Winning When You're Older or Less Athletic - Bottom Game by John Danaher
I really enjoyed the broader "bottom" game plan. There was a bit of this and that included various ways to enter halfguard and even chokes from front headlocks. I felt this had a slightly faster feel and a cleaner approach with a bit less repetitive compared to some of his other instructionals. My bottom game has improved and these are moves I could easily do as I age.
