The Complete Arm Ride by Nick Pollaro
Refreshing. A solid concept you can apply without being on of the Ruotolo brothers. Simple does not mean easy but you do wonder why you did not think of it or why you were not taught it before! Over 30, definitely pick it up!
Good
Back Attacks Enter The System by John Danaher
Good tutorial would maybe like more focus on entries though
Great course

Amazing fundamentals
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
My goal as a white belt is very much “don’t die” and these escapes have really helped with positional awareness and the entire idea of “position over submission” as a beginner. Highly reccomend.
Craig jones never disappoints
Octopus Guard 2.0 by Craig Jones
I just love Octopus guard and Craig Jones so this was an easy buy!!!
Ankle Lock
Master The Move: The Ankle Lock by John Danaher
Phenomenal like all other Danaher instructionals. My entire approach to ankle locks were incorrect. This fixed it immediately and the principals were immediately applicable in training. Highly recommend!

Great introduction to foot sweeps
Foot Sweep Flo by Justin Flores
This is a great product. I love how it starts out with theory, solo, and partner drills and then moves on to technique. The instruction is clear and detailed. Just the instruction on how properly place your foot and sound it makes has made my sweeps better.
Halleem syed escaping half guard
Half Guard Passing: Knowledge to Skill by Haleem Syed

Engaging Without Regrets
Engaging Without Regrets by Jozef Chen
A rare instructional that actually tackles the engagement phase instead of jumping straight to passing techniques — the messy first few seconds of contact where most rolls are actually decided. Chen breaks down posture, grip precedence, and when to commit vs. reset, which filled a gap most guard-passing content skips over. It's concept-first rather than a step-by-step technique list, so it rewards people who already understand passing fundamentals and want to sharpen their entries — if you're newer to passing, the payoff may take longer to show up on the mats. Short and dense at around 70 minutes across two volumes, so it's easy to revisit before class without wading through hours of footage.
Tripod Passing: Beating Inside Position
Tripod Passing: Beating Inside Position by Jozef Chen
Solid, well-organized system for dealing with modern inside-position guards. Chen breaks the pass into clear phases — distance management, entries, maintenance, and finishing with wrist control — rather than just showing isolated techniques, which made it easier to actually drill and retain. The games-based sections were a nice touch for making the concepts stick in live rounds instead of just cooperative reps. Not a beginner instructional — you'll want solid passing fundamentals going in — but if you're already fighting through knee shields, RDLR, or similar guards, this gives you a genuinely modern framework to work from.
Great short system
Bricks Kesa Gatame System by Jeremy Brick
Really enjoyed the concise but still detailed videos describing the positions.
Defesa anti-bullying

É mais voltado para a defesa anti-bullying do que brincadeiras como no primeiro instrucional.

Great system as usual from Gordon
Solid instructional.
Guard Passing Essentials by Marcelo Garcia
I’ve seen this a few times and it’s always good. I’ve done martial arts for a long time and this is still one of the best guard passing instruction videos I’ve watched.

This is fats becoming my favorite position, Taylor does a great job with this, I would recommend
Defesa anti-bully
Train With Your Kids Volume 2 by Joel Bouhey
Good for longevity
Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills by John Danaher
I use a lot of these movements as warmups for class and before tournaments. Highly recommend.
Tons of variety
BJJ Fanatics Ultimate Submissions
This instructional has a ton of cool details for a lot of different submissions. Each instructor has their own unique teaching style and this has inspired me to seek out instructionals from new teachers just based on how they talk about techniques in their short segment.
Good for young guys too.
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Positional Escapes by Bernardo Faria
As a younger grappler under 30 years old, I realize that I will eventually be an old grappler. Why not build my game around old guy bjj techniques now so I dont have to change my game later? This instructional gives fundamental escapes with high level details to make escapes require a lot less physicality. Highly recommend.
Good concepts
This instructional compliments the b team bottom game instructional very well. The only complaint I have is that the instructional seems to get kind of off topic toward the end.
Clear and fat free
the Kimura Scheme by Clark Gracie
No wasted words, everything in the series is worth watching. Quickly covers everything you need to know to take your Kimura to the next level.
