The Daisy Fresh Curriculum: White Belt Stripe 4 by Heath Pedigo
Through the years I purchased tons of instructionals. This is, hands down, one of the best i ever bought. Fist, professor Pedigo is simply a great teacher. He has a great understanding of the fighting mechanics, something like professor Danaher or professor Akins. Second, he is amazing in explaining: not too verbous, he gives all the needed information. Three, teaching method: having two white belts trying on each other and correct them in real time is a bold choice. He can do that only because he has the great knowledge he has. Fourth: choice of the techniques. There is an holistic approach: if you get a good grasp on all of them you will have a well rounded game. Plus, they are perfect to implement bjj body mechanics (e.g how to move in the guard, how to sit, etc). I never been into Daisy Fresh stuff… but now I understand the reasons behind the success. Hats off, just waiting for the blue belt stuff.
Amazingly technical.

The Front Headlock System by John Danaher
Danaher does it again, with easy-to-follow detailed steps to achieve the most shockingly tight darces, anacondas and guillotines. When I hit a darce or anaconda my opponents just die. I have a lot more difficulty following his steps to get guillotines from Kneeling Front Headlock - he doesn't give enough detail on how to hand fight against resistance. I've found it almost impossible to get to the high hand position he favors as a starting point, and so I often employ his go-behinds instead, which work perfectly. Even knowing that I'd absolutely buy it again,

BJJ Old Man Style by Rick Ellis
So for me Rick is one of those people that I just enjoy listening to and learning from. He speaks in way that is very easy to follow and is very to the point with just the right amount of extra stuff to keep you engaged. I have follwed his Youtube channel for a while now, I have one of his seminars and now I own this piece. I am an older out of shape BJJ student and I can say I have used a lot of Ricks teachings along with other resources in an attempt to improve my game. Check out his Youtube and if you like the way he speaks and if you find him easy to follow then I would say grab this instructional. You will not be disappointed. He is loaded with great information and insight.
