Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Everything from the required functional movements through to the various escapes, is gold. Like John says, "if this decrepit old body can do it, so can you." His stuff just works....
Response from BJJ Fanatics:sunglasses::sunglasses:Outstanding Detail & Information
Passing Modern Guard Using Old School Concepts by Andre Galvao
Most of the actual guard passing concepts I was familiar with. However, the way that Andre systematizes establishing side control and the transitions that flow from the position is the best I've seen. Easily level up your side control top & guard passing game with this set.

Exit The System by Garry Tonon
I'm always finding myself in compromising positions as a blue belt. Finally, a vide that helps me from getting smeshed by upper belts. Garry is definitely one of the most intelligent, exciting BJJ practitioners out there - so I'm glad to see his scenarios unfold, with excellent commentary.

Closed Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
John Danahar hands down is one of the Best Jiu-Jitsu Coaches Ever. This series breaks down the closed guard like no other without missing a step. Definitely worth having and after this first purchase from the Danahar series I can't wait to get the rest of the Go Faster Further Series.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Diamond Concept of Defense by Xande Ribeiro
Diamond Concept: The Diamond Guard Frame, Shield, Elegant, Pedal by Xande Ribeiro
Excellent instruction of how a fundamental movement can be expanded into a near universal guard system. Instead of looking for specific solutions to specific problems (giving a man a fish) ,this system allows you to use a simple but very powerful movement in many defensive scenarios (teaching a man to fish).
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Refreshing Old School BJJ Without Any BS
Effective Old School Passing by Vinicius "Draculino" Magalhaes
I bought this and his old school guard instructional, and love them both. His passing in particular was so refreshing; just a lot of good old fashioned crushing pressure with out any ********. Thx Vinicius, this stuff is gold.

Foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Bernardo Faria
Just when I thought I knew what I was doing.....a master instructor gives details to the fundamentals that I missed along the way. At ten years into the BJJ life, this collection was a perfect addition to my instructor library. It has already served my students well by making me a more detailed, fundamentals coach.

Half Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
It is beautiful how Mr. Danaher explains the science behind the move. The details and the way he does it, is so self-provoking pushing for more absorption and learning. This is my first year as a committed BJJ practitioner and I am happy to learn from one of the greatest.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Worth every penny!!
Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I am a 49 year old, smaller than average blue belt who has been studying jiu-jitsu for many years. I have very good submission defense, but have struggled with positional escapes against other blue belts and usually end up stuck on bottom most of the time I am rolling. It has always been a point of great frustration for me, despite studying MANY different resources on the subject. I hesitated to spend the money on Professor Danaher's Escapes material, worried that it would be more of the same information I had already seen, without any improvement in my escape ability. I was dead wrong! After purchasing the digital version, I skimmed through the material to get an idea of what kind of content was included, then sat down and watched the first volume (2 hours in length) covering only some basic concepts of pinning and escaping and some basic body movements for escaping, including sections on bridging and shrimping. The details Professor Danaher covers on these two movements alone, immediately showed me why many of my escapes were not working against larger and/or skilled opponents. These were details I have never seen covered in this manner and in this amount of depth. They were details that my instructors should have taught me, but never did. Professor Danaher has changed my escape game forever, after just watching the volume on concepts and body movements! I can't imagine what the other 7 volumes will do for me!! I will most definitely be buying more from Profesor Danaher in the future! If you are trying to decide whether or not to buy this instructional... don't wait... buy it! You will not be disappointed.
A Portal To Another Dimension
Leg Lock Anthology: 50/50 by Lachlan Giles
I used to avoid heel hooks, I couldn’t even watch them being applied without wincing and in fact I didn’t even like them being brought up in conversation… the first time I watched the series I was slightly overwhelmed by the level of detail and Kia’s distractingly handsome appearance. Within a few weeks I started to catch people in heel hooks, and now foot attacks in generally have become my highest percentage submission. This series was literally like opening a portal to another dimension, I wholeheartedly recommend that you purchase the series. I used to fear heel hooks and now I feel like batman (Batman Begins not the one with Michael Keaton) I’ve become what I feared most.
Very good

John shows exactly what everyone would expect from a true Master: wisdom, confidence and, above all, patience to repeat his teachings till everything is as clear as it can be. Really easy to understand english (I’m not a native english speaker), great filming and virtually no editing required, so fluent and well thought are his explanations. A must see video, indeed!
