Detailed, practical, and interconnected lesson
The Complete Butterfly Guard by Marcelo Garcia
I appreciate the attention to detail and whole picture approach Marcelo Garcia has in this instructional. As a smaller guy (~150lbs) I find these techniques useful even against larger opponents. I also appreciate his insights about connecting these techniques to single leg x, back takes, and follow up movements. Has seriously helped my BJJ and prepared me to take even more away from Butterfly lessons in my own gym.

Fundamentals for old guys
Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Fundamental Game Plan by Bernardo Faria
I enjoyed the video. It have given me a plan for a take down. As an older guy I’m not as good at takedowns as I’d like. This has given me a plan. I love the concept of the action leading to your best move, cutting out the middle man as he says.

Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys: Submission Escapes by Bernardo Faria
Bernardo used all his experience to simplify concepts and techniques in a useable format for older grapplers. Really great instructional
Solid
Quicksilver by Pavel Tsatsouline & Jon Engum
Pretty nice set of moves to fix your aches and pains from BJJ. Even better if you do any of the kettlebell stuff Pavel teaches. One thing I would've liked though would've been a full-body stretching routine to follow. This is mostly just a compendium of stretching moves.
Solid go-to for defense
Never Get Submitted Again by Noel Danforth
I usually come back to this instructional every time I get caught in a submission. This goes through defenses to all of the popular subs, like guillotine, omoplata, triangle, kimura, ezekiel, cross choke etc. Solid, well worth the money.
Details you missed
Guard Passing Mastery by Henry Akins
Never a miss with Henry Akins. Akins is extremely good at the fundamentals. There are a ton of little details here that everyone misses, which will totally transform your understanding of what guard passing fundamentally is. It's just weight distribution and angles. Akins demonstrates these simple high-level concepts beautifully. The best thing about Akins' instructionals is that since they tackle the "why", you can apply these concepts to other areas of your game too. Akins is one of the all-time great BJJ teachers, up there with John Danaher.
Blue belt express
Foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Bernardo Faria
This is basically white to blue belt encyclopedia in one package. By Bernardo Faria, one of the all-time greats. What else do you want?
Pure Lachlan
The Guard Passing Anthology: Half Guard by Lachlan Giles
The content is great. Super detailed stuff, highly technical. Every one of these Lachlan's anthologies is an entire library with crazy amounts of content. You definitely get your money's worth. The only negative is that there's maybe even too much content? A lot of it is about the "how" and less about the underlying concepts about why things work. Very technique-intensive. Still, worth the time. You'll probably pick up something new each time you watch this. Crazy cheap compared to what you get.
Highly Recommend
Standing2Ground: Positional Dominance & Scrimmage Wrestling by John Danaher
Excellent material on the stand up game. You can’t go wrong with this one.
Kettlebells for BJJ
Kettlebell StrongFirst by Pavel Tsatsouline
Pavel is a true legend. This teaches a simple KB system to incorporate with BJJ. Everything here translates extremely well to grappling. I have never been sore from these workouts which is a great thing, as I can do these every day and still go to BJJ practice, which doesn't happen with other programs I've tried.
Faria's favorite pass
Jiu Jitsu for Old Guys: Over / Under Pressure Passing System by Bernardo Faria
Everything about Faria's favorite pass. Goes through every position where it can be set up - from kneeling, open guard, spider guard, DLR etc. Basically everything you need to know about the over under pass.
Great turtle system
The Turtle System by Henry Akins
Henry Akins is one of the hidden treasures of the BJJ world. This is one of the best instructionals for the turtle I have seen, goes through both offense and defense. Akins teaches super specific details on these techniques that even advanced players miss. Highly recommended.
