This was the first instructional that I purchased and i definitely implemented strategies and techniques right away. I am still using some of them to this day.

Great BJJ Games For Kids of All Ages
Train With Your Kids by Joel Bouhey
Joel Bouhey has some really great games to use to help kids get accustomed to various BJJ techniques and concepts, as well as some new ways to teach certain techniques. If you work with kids or just want to help your own kids get a bit of a fun headstart, I recommend this instructional.
Shin Whizzer
Great product. Neil has a ton of information. Stuff you can use to get the jump on your training partners. Touches on snap guard as well, an approach that gives you another avenue of attack that isn't limited to pulling guard.

Excellent material
Catch Wrestling Takedown Solutions by Yuko Miyato
I was a little hesitant on purchasing this download but I am so glad I did. Yuko Miyato does an excelent job breaking down the techniques and demonstrating solid basics. I have already started using them with the guys I train with and we are having a blast. It's not an exhaustive list of all CACC takedowns, but it's a great foundation builder. Worth the buy.
Very good
How To Take The Back by Garry Tonon
Very good details and has helped massively with my ability to take people's backs.
Clearly applied guard theory
Understanding The Distance From Guard by Gui Mendes
Very conceptual, but well explained and demonstrated. Shows some techniques with some good details but doesn't drown you in details of the attacks, focuses on guard concepts.

knowledge to skills, easy learn for a Rear ***** Strangle
Make Rear Naked Strangle Your Best Move: Knowledge to Skill by Haleem Syed
Haleem does a great job explaining the specifics of each move and how you actually train to get to the finish of a rear ***** strangle. Easy to understand for all belt colors, and his teaching skills make these complex moves easy to follow from the beginning thru the end. I think the practice moves are a great way to see the process and get a feel of what you are looking for when applying the rear ***** strangle . He touches on every aspect of each move being shown and does it in a way that everyone can understand. Strongly recommend for anyone wanting to improve their BJJ skill sets.
Decent overview
The Side/Mount System Bundle by Roger Gracie
Roger definitely provides detail, but not a huge amount much when compared to other instructionals. I definitely enjoyed the playful relationship between Roger and his dad in the side control instructional. Overall it is a good instructional set, but pretty short with lots of fluff.
Leveled up my game
Systematically Attacking From Top Pins: Mount by Gordon Ryan
I first watched this early on in my jits journey and a lot of it was too advanced. But I keep coming back to it now and picking up details that have kept improving my game. His back take from Mount is a core component of my game now.

Old school closed guard
Coral Belt Concepts: Closed Guard by Fabio Gurgel
This is an excellent instructional (GI) on the closed guard (bottom), covering effective old school attacks and sweeps. What sets it apart from other closed guard instructionals is the quality of Fabio Gurgel’s instruction. He teaches a series of techniques in logical order from the moment your opponent enters your closed guard, including how to respond immediately to compromise and control the opponent’s posture. He also teaches when you should open your closed guard. When teaching the techniques he teaches broadly around the technique and as you would expect provides useful insights. His instruction and demonstrations are clear. This is an easy instructional to watch and the techniques are not complex or difficult to learn and recall. There are no notable issues with sound or video quality (e.g., range, focus, or lighting). The runtime for the instructional is 1 hours and forty one minutes. If you are interested in improving your closed guard and you feel you have more to learn, then this would be a good instructional to add to your library.
