I found the Instrucitonal helpful. Erika Dawn gives a good overview, her language is visual and clear and therefore easy to understand. As an advanced white belt, I was able to take something away with me in the area of sweeps and passes.

I bought this instructional as part of the daily deal offers and it did not disappoint. John Danaher breaks down concepts and theories behind the moves that he demonstrates in order to escape pins and immediately counter attack with submissions. In my opinion, this is absolutely essential for beginners like me who find themselves in pins and submissions almost every second of the round.
